Lucid dreaming is basically where you're aware that you're dreaming, and can control your dreams. You can train yourself to be able to do this by performing "reality checks" throughout the day (such as looking at time pass on a clock), by keeping a dream journal, and other ways. Some people get lucid dreams spontaneously. There are plenty of videos that explain this in better detail. Have you ever had a dream you'd describe as "lucid"? At best I might have had some short ones.
I've been lucid dreaming since I was 7 so I have a lot, honestly I love it. I remember at least 91% of all my lucid dreams
I think most of my dreams are lucid, unfortunately although I can remember having the dream, I cannot remember what happens in my lucid dreams.
I can control my dreams, whether I want to have a lucid dreams or not, I love having lucid dreams though :--)
I used to dream all the time. Most of them I had no control over, but gave me great ideas for stories. Some of them were "lucid", and I had control over what happened and what didn't. A few of them gave me images of random things, from a crossing a street to the score on a final exam. These dreams appeared in the future, with no discrepancies from the original. For instance, I had a dream about two rows of people bouncing basketballs once, and a few weeks later during gym class, that dream became reality. In other words, I seem to have dreams that depict what happens in my future, more than I have controllable dreams. Lately though, I haven't had any dreams. I go to sleep, hoping for one, only to wake up the next morning and remembering nothing. Perhaps i've let reality seep in too much...
I mastered lucid dreaming in my middle school years, I have full control of my dreams now. It's a wonderful experience, I don't get random dreams. My dreams are lucid dreams, plus I can remember the entire dream. I'm glad I learned it and mastered the technique.
Im able to lucid dream at random times, Like once i had a whole dream about me , the Characters from LOK, the army and a whole bunch of other characters were charging towards a city to help Godzilla defeat another monster. Yeah, it was a huge nerdy dream and i absolutely loved it xD
Out of curiosity, how does one "master" lucid dreaming? I feel that would be a useful skill to have in the future.
I've had very, very few lucid dreams in my lifetime. I've made efforts to get them, but unfortunately I haven't been able to. I remember the dreams that are important to me in that they reflect my emotions in some way. It happens very rarely, but when it does, it sticks out. I really wish I could achieve lucid dreams themselves more often, though.
There's a funny thing about my dreams, I dream quite often。Well, everyone does, but I have a lot more dreams in a week that I can retain and remember than the average Joe。 But, I have only had 2 lucid dreams in my entire lifetime, I don't lucid dream that much despite the amount of dreams I have regularly。 Seriously, I sleep a lot。 Kind of disappointing....
I've only had a few in my life. Then again, I'm only 11. But I find them really fun. Normally I just Imagine a plot like a story, then just go along with it. And give myself superpowers...good and bad
I don't really have lucid dreams ;-; Mostly because I stay up late so I don't really have dreams at all, just blackness
I have lucid dreams almost all the time. I've mastered lucid NIGHTMARES and have the ability to exit them when I feel it gets too much.
My dreams always have to do with an activity i've done today + school 90% of the time... Probably represents my fear of not fitting in... But I've had one lucid dream, but can remember rarely any of it.. But the only problem is somethings controling me when i control my dreams, like I know im in a dream but its making me change it into whatever is controlling me wants.
