Hello there community. As some of you know by now, I've been demoted from the Moderator rank. Now, to some explaining. As most of you have noticed, I've been fairly inactive for the past few months, almost a year actually. Reason behind this is that I've started attending the College focused on Program Engineering and I simply didn't/don't have time to perform what was expected of me as a Moderator. I'm not saying I didn't have any free time, that's not true. But, when I had free time, I wanted to spend it with my RL friends doing RL stuff and so on. I was thinking of resigning for some time now because I feel it's not fair from me to my team, and the community in general to keep a position which someone else might be more suitable for at the moment. I wont explain much more, other than simply saying that my schedule was filled up with 6 different and hard courses I'm having on college and I simply don't have time to be an active staff member this community requires at the moment. I've been a staff member here for 2 years, I think, and I hope I did good at the times I was more active in. Now, as it's expected of any topic like this, I'd like to give few special thanks to several members. Note that not everyone I've became friends with will be listed below, simply because I don't want to go too deep with this: @XenonHD - Thank you for being a top of the class "teacher" to me since the first day I've joined the team. You were always ready to help me or hear me out whenever I needed your advice or anything like that. I don't know how you think of me, but I see you as a good friend who I got to know over these 2 years I've been part of the team. I hope we will remain in contact regardless of our rank difference :) @MrDeathWilliam - There's not much to say here. Willy, I thank you for listening to me when I needed it, taking my suggestions and advices, and specially for letting me know that I was an important asset to your staff team. What I said to Xenon about staying in contact goes for you too. @_Magical - Magix, thank you for all the times we had together, chatting, building and everything else. Me not being a staff member now doesn't mean I'll think of you any different, and I hope it works vice versa. @Nocturn_King - M8, you're also one of my oldest co-workers and thank you for all the times we had. Ring me up for next videos any time you'd like. @ItsHarry - Harry, since I don't know much about you and vice versa, I only wanted to thank you for letting me join your team. I was a simple greyname, only few days on the server when you actually accepted my staff application. You chose me among plenty of other candidates who were veterans on the server and even big time donators. That day, you have proven me I had what it takes to be a valuable part of your team, and I hope I'll be able to prove it once again in the future. I also want to thank everyone else for the great fun and support they've given me over the last 2 years and I wont ever forget it. HUGE NOTICE: I am not freakin' leaving the server if any of you thought that by now. I wrote all of the above because that's what's expected of someone who this community has had a large impact on. Regarding the questions about me staying here or even trying to re-join the team one day: I will definitely try to re-join the Mod team once I'm done with my semester as I'll start having much more free time then. Starting next year, my college courses are becoming more focused on the actual application of our knowledge and skills which will result in less courses, 3-4, instead of the 6 I currently have. I hope my spot will be filled by someone who can do what I did with same amount of effort as I did when I had more time to put in to the community moderation. Of course, I will only try to re-join if I'll be allowed/welcomed to by the current staff leaders. Thank you all for taking a few minutes to take a look in this topic, I hope I'll see you all around. PS: As I'm no longer able to, please move this topic to a more suitable section if required :) Regards, RadeonX - Steve.
Bye Radeon. Many will miss you, including me. You were a great Moderator. I remember when I was getting promoted to Helper, you added me on skype before I was even accepted. I thought you didn't like me because you always said "ew zezze" when you said it as a joke, I didn't know about such a joke yet. :P Thanks for being part of the staff team.
Thank you all for the kind words :P Once again, I'm not leaving, I'm just giving up on the staff rank for now because I agree with the admins on the fact that I'm inactive. @iMawl - Zezz, I see you as a friend too, don't worry about not including you above. Same goes for others.
glad you're doing what you think is best for yourself. even though you were "inactive" (I did see you on a lot,) you did contribute something so thanks for that.
Sad to see you go dude. You were definitely one of the non-bad staff members, and you were very helpful to the server. Good luck in the future!
Good luck with your courses! I never saw you much in game because we never played minigames or anything at the same time, but I'm sure you were a great moderator!
I myself intend to go into a field of engineering, and I've looked into how difficult it can get. From what I can tell, you're getting hit pretty hard by it. I wish you luck in doing well and encourage you to keep working at it, no matter how tough the going gets. You were an excellent moderator, and I look forward to your potential return to your former position. I wish you well as you dive into your future; know this community stands behind you every step of the way, Radeon, and have some fun with college while you're at it ^-^
Farewell my good friend. Hope to see you on the server so we can play together MEMORABLE PICTURES: I never felt so sad to see a staff member go tbh. Bye :(
Even know i dont really know you that well, its sad to see you go. thanks for being apart of the staff team radeon :)
I never really knew you or got a chance to meet you but you seem to be a cool person. Good luck with college and stuff
