No, I wasn't being biased. I was expressing my thoughts and opinions. I think most, if not all of what I said was not biased.

He didn't "roast me" he just made good points that I kind of agree with. ItsJerry has been the only one on this thread that disagrees with me that has made valid points and hasn't accused me of saying something that I didn't say.

Seriously Joseph, the Server won't change just by this Thread, also, Willy, Jerry and Harry and other Staff etc. have put a lot of time choosing the best candidates, for example, Chief. No one expected it, yet he has done an amazing job as a Staff Member. He does what a Staff Member is told to do, keeping Forums and the Server civil, and solving reports and much more, and you're saying they need to be more funny etc? A lot of the time most Staff Members do have fun, you're probably not seeing it. It's not a rule for them to never have fun.

On another point, attention seekers will never leave. Probably all of us have been an attention seeker once. Lets be honest.
You are saying a lot of people dont care about other's oppinions, but quite-frankly, I could say the same about this Thread.

Maybe you should open your eyes a bit to the community, I've met a lot of nice people, despite rule-breakers.

Sorry, you posted something funny on a serious thread, so I instantly thought you were being serious.

Okay...

1. I never said the server was going to change based off of this thread.
2. I never said that they didn't put in a lot of time in picking staff. All I was trying to say is that there are staff members that I do not think do their jobs correctly.
3. I never said that staff had to be funny or anything related to that, all I said was, I should be respected by staff and staff should respect other players. I think some staff don't even do their job correctly either.
4. Where did I say in this thread that staff didn't have fun?
5. The fifth thing I bolded didn't make sense. I never said that I don't care about other people's opinions, so I don't know where you got that info from. Also, if you don't care about this thread, then you should leave and not comment here. Just a suggestion.
6. You say "maybe I should open my eyes to the community." Why do you think I have been here as long as I have? Why do you think I made this thread in the first place? For me? No, it was to help the community as a whole. This thread was meant to help the community see all the problems that the server/forums have. You and a few others are taking this thread way out of context and morphing it into something that I never even said or intended to portray. It almost sounds like you didn't even read the entire thread just to be honest.

and this is what happens on a lot of threads like these
you people morph what others are saying and try to put words into their mouths, which makes others believe that what you said was the OP's intent.
That's not okay
So you can interpret the thread however which way you want to, but don't go saying things about the intent of the thread without 100% clarity on what the OP was trying to get across.

Too lazy to type up a full opinion but yes agreed with this so much. Im scared almost every time I post an opinion of some sort because I really do convince myself "oh god whos gonna warn me on this posts please no". This server is really turning into more of "oh you want so and so?, even though it may benefit the community instantly it will take us ten years to review it =)" now I do understand that if a plan is set in motion (like new oitc maps) itll take a while. But seriously? It takes an hour to decide on on custom titles? Like honestly its just people putting a little title to describe themself. The worst that could happen is impersonation which hasnt happened very often and I myself havent even seen it happen.

If you want more players and stuff, let them have freedom. Let them enjoy themselves. Limiting them with staff that are drifting on to a whole new ocean and new things that take years to implement will only drive the playerbase away. Look at it through a new perspective. And some of the rules here still question me, like "no links whatsoever in chat unless its J&H related". I do understand in a way because of porn and shizzle but is it necessary to ban all links because of that one problem?

Honestly I don't feel like the server is that bad. I am fully confident that as long as I don't act like a complete asshole I can post my opinion however I want. (like I am doing now)
This server does a decent job of respecting peoples opinions no matter how lame or bad it is.

So I do think there is a little bit of overreaction on some points.

P.S. I was just using that as an example Noah. I think you are cool :)

 

Problem is sometimes when debating I tend to go from a civil argument to a full blown mine is better because..." And I have gotten 6 warnings total so I tend to fear that. Also getting the drama thread warning can really change you. It happened to me last august and I really have a different perspective on the forums than I did before that.
