The ability to jump out of the Arena in One In The Chamber

In which minigame/server does the bug occur: OITC - Raid

Detailed description of bug:
Ok, so not sure if this is an intended purpose but on the map Raid in One In The Chamber, there is a window of a building which can be used to jump out of the arena. Every time I have tried it, it has been located at x = 500 and z = -228 or around there. The basic thing is if you jump out the window correctly you can just jump outside the arena and around the dirt area. After finding this bug I explored it in a couple of games, there seems to be no method to get back in apart from by jumping into the void (i.e. suicide), and respawning in a random position within the arena.

I have attached a video of me entering a game and replicating the bug. As you can see from the debug mode (F3) in-game, the coordinates are about right. Although the bug can be difficult to replicate, just by sprinting at the window and jumping, you should get it within a few tries. In the video it took a total of 3 tries.

 

Hmm, seems quite intresting. I think they should just put like 3 slabs on top there so you cant jump on or something..


Some people where doing this the other day in a lobby I was in but I had no idea they where talking about this haha.

 

OK, having a look at the others maps and just found the same thing in Terminal. Thanks to Cheeseboy_Pvpz for helping.

This could be fixed by just putting glass there or covering it up, easy fix.

 

This is good for spectators

 

yeah, that's what I thought. Which is why I was surprised that it wasn't fixed already because it seems like the type of thing that would be fixed quickly. That's one of the reasons I was so quick to report it as it could be a serious issue.

How so? Surely blocking the path for players will still allow spectators to watch and fly around? Unless I'm mistaken on how spectating works?

Well considering this issue has been around since OITC came out a long time ago, I'm not sure if it's ever going to be fixed. Though I may be wrong.
