Minecraft Texture pack help

Im in need of some texture pack help, Ive downloaded a texture pack and everything. Its in my Resource Pack folder, but I cant put it into the actual option called Resource Packs. How do I drag the Resource Pack into the actual option?

 

Minecraft> Settings> Resorce Packs> Add Resorce packs>
Drag texture pack in
X out
Get out of Resorce packs
Go back on Resorce packs
Click your Resorce pack
Done

 

The problem is that I cant drag the texture pack in, I tried moving it into the place where it says drag resource packs here but it just makes the "No" symbol (the circle with a line inside of it.)

Are u dragging it straight from downloads? If so try putting it on desktop and then move it into ur resource pack folder.

 

open the file, it might have the folder of the pack in it.
Second. Don't click the open pack folder.

• Windows key + r
• %appdata% > enter
• Find .minecraft
• resourcepacks

I get what you are trying to say. You can't actually just take the file and drag it into the game. You have to find the file. Try doing what @Excellence_ said.

1. Search %appdata% in your File Explorer. If your on a windows (7 & 8 I believe) press the little four square thing. And search it there.
2. Click .minecraft
3. Find resource pack folder.
4. Drag the file into the folder.

 

Thats what Ive done, but it isnt working, I dont have a .zip download if thats what you mean

 

Maybe check if it is for the right version of minecraft?

 

Drag the recourse pack folder to desktop then type %appdata% .minecraft then drag it and if this doesn't work
Open minecraft go to recourse packs click open recourse pack folder drag and drop the recourse pack that you want.

 

Does it says any error?

 

Are you sure that there isn't a folder containing the resource pack inside of the .zip?

 

You have to download. Winrar once you've done that reinstall the texture pack then it will be a Winrar file trust me it will work
