There is no best video game ever, as everyone has their own type of "style". For me, I like WW2 and Sandbox games that don't have blocks in it or mainstream shit. Mine has to be Garry's Mod, I can do whatever the hell I want.

Binding of Isaac is pretty cool right now.

Portal was pretty cool when I was 13.

Okami is pretty cool even though I haven't played it in about a year.

There really isn't a universal "best video game ever". It all depends on your taste.

I prefer games that aren't competitive because I'm just not that type of person.

 

GTA San Andreas is by far one of the best video games, if not the best.
Maybe it doesn't seem like that now, but I remember it when it just came out, and it was something completely different and awesome.

My top 5 favorite games:

1. GTA San Andreas
2. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
3. Alien Isolation
4. Amnesia: The dark descent
5. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Those are my favorite single player games, but my all time favorite game is Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.
It's the game that defined my childhood, I spent so much time playing it with my friends, I never get bored of it, and I even enjoy playing it today, any time I can.

I also love anything Pokemon related, but speaking of actual Gameplay, nothing beats those games stated above. Excluding the "Binding of Isaac", as it's completely different game style.

GTA5 is REALLY fun with friends in my opinion, I've had so much fun while playing it.
Super Mario RPG is pretty much were I began gaming. I completed that game so many times, it was always fun.
COD WAW is were zombies began in call of duty and zombies with friends was always fun.
I had to add mine craft to my list because I have met so many people through it and you can do so much stuff in this game.
