[Factions&Survival] /sethome nether top glitch

In which minigame/server does the bug occur: Factions and Survival
Detailed description of bug: If you find free space in top of lava in survival or factions and you do /sethome <name>, and then /home <name>, you will get teleported on top of the nether, as shown in this video:

 

This is a result of you're not standing on anything, and you can't sethome in the air. So, it just teleports you on top of the nether because that's the nearest ground. It's not a malfunction/bug, it's how it works.
In order for you to sethome in the air, you'll need to have a block under you.

 

I am totally aware of this function. Although, I don't think J&H want us to go on top of the nether.

 

I don't see why we can't go up there. Anyways, I'm not a factions genius but this is basic essentials that's why it doesn't function well. It may seem like a glitch, but it's barely one. There are quite a few essentials mishaps where people don't know if it's on purpose or a bug. I'm sure this will be solved/ or answered with a proper answer. I'm not an essentials genius, so I'm not really sure.

 

Why do you think they removed /top from survival? ;)

 

I know this happens but I didn't know the technique.

 

Why should that got fixed.
1.ontop of the nether you can build amazing farms like a huge gold farm in Survival
2. Faction you can find easier claims
3. That is my most favorite glitch to come is bases and glitching is in factions allowed.
