So the UK was an area of the highest darkness persentage. (Somewhere between 80-90% darkness). Since this was the first one since 1999 I was pretty stoked. I managed to get a picture of it: Sorry for the blur, it's a huge image so I had to zoom it in. Image courtesy of moi :3
I got to miss half of English, Ill check my friends phones and instagrams, they have some pictures (I did a massive group selfie (like 15 people) with the eclipse behind me)
My school decided to be complete dicks and not let us out during the eclipse. The classroom windows face the opposite direction of the moon and sun during the eclipse, so all I saw was the overall light level outside drop a bit, like it was 6PM :C
I looked at it my bare eyes it hurt ;I P.S After the 1999 eclipse there was an earthquake which destroyed whole Istanbul ... (City that I live in)
It was a bit of a let down for us, we could barely see it and the worst part, it didn't even get dark ;-;
Hahah, there was only like a 5 minute break in the clouds when I got this one, could barely see it because of how bright it was.
It got slightly dark, since it was cloudy, we couldn't see it. Then it got sunny afterwards -.-. Anyways, I will try look at the next one in 2026 :p
