New Banning System for the Forums

Oh ok. I was misunderstanding. So the points from the game are in fact on the forums as well? I am sorry I am asking questions, but if anyone asks in game I want to tell them right

 

No, server and forum points are different. If that's what you mean. You don't earn a point on the forums if you're warned on the server for example.

Not all of us staff members are clean.

Staff can be warned/banned just like anyone else, with a special perk of getting demoted as well if the reason was severe.

To the questions related to the points:

When staff members issue warnings, they can edit the number of warn points that will be applied depending on the rule the user has broken, and depending on how many times the specific user has already done such thing. In combination with that, we can also set the duration over which those points will apply.

Active points are the points that are still active.
For example, User X has been warned for reasons and was given 2 warn points over the duration of 2 weeks.
One week later, they were given one more point that applies over the duration of 2 more weeks, and now they have 3 active points total.
One week later, original 2 points expire, leaving the user with 1 active point that was given the previous week.


I know most of these were answered already, but I wanted to put it all in one post.

 

I'm pretty sure they can get demoted if that ever happened but I could be wrong.

 

Yes, that would be counted as Power abuse.
