You're telling me the Flood were scary? AKA the zombie parasites that you simply shot at, blown up, torched and had a good time blowing heads off?
At least in FNAF there's a feeling of hopelessness, though you never actually get a scared feeling, just a jumpscare punishment.
Real scare is from actual horror games (Amnesia, Silent Hill), not from a cleverly designed but overrated micromanagement game and a mindless but innovative and creative shooter.

But anyway I am excited for the game, but same as Gamermonkey, not excited for all the rps
But Im not really in it for the game, the secrets and backstory of the game are creepier

 

Its scavy ... sooo scavy

 

In the Halo CE Level, Library, the flood always intimidated you. It was the intimidation and fear of dying that scared you. You could always turn back and you would see the flood right in your face. Not to mention the first encounter with the flood were scary enough in the level, 343 Guilty Spark.

 

It's not a 3D game...it's just pictures popping up at you :I

 

Eh, maybe on Legendary, I haven't exactly played CE.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they couldn't be nightmare inducing scary, unless you didn't have a gun.

 

by 3D they don't mean things popping out at you, they mean that there is perspective added to it, so things farther away are smaller, and things closer up are bigger. Also, Fnaf 1 and 2 were actually 2D pictures placed in certain places to make it look 3D, but in this game it really is 3D pictures

 

Bungie meant for them to be scary, plus, nothing is very effective in that level, not even the rocket launcher. That is why the flood is fear inducing because they swarm all over you.

Seriously, all these FNaF threads are unneeded. In a way I kind of feel better that Amnesia isn't popular to the point where it's counted as spam here.

 

The first game was just pointless.
They made a second one...more pointless.
The third one....even more pointless.

Anyway, I'm not a die hard fan of it but I do think the game has an interesting timeline and what not. I think the 3rd game is actually going to be pretty good. don't take my word for it

The one thing more annoying than constant talk about FNAF is the people who can't shut up about how terrible it is.
Really, I'm no fan of the game. I tried it and couldn't play it without a finger hovering over the escape button. But please, I'm pretty sure most people would prefer it if you took your FNAF hate and ranting to a thread that, I don't know, isn't about support for the game itself?
Moral of the story: don't hate, seriously, not that hard to learn...
