    He wasn't complaining. Stating opinions and complaining are two different things. He does not have to like any of my jokes and you do not have to either. It is just like a performance or any type of entertainment, you do not have to like them nor will the artist even care if you like them or not.

    It is not complaining when you are just saying "I don't think these joke are very funny." that is only stating your opinion about it.

    but @AJthekidCP I would recommend that you say it a bit differently instead of "I know what it is, it isn't funny". I would have said it more like "I really do not think this joke is very funny" since that would have caused the less drama.

    I don't think you are trying. Sometimes we say things that we think are not going to cause drama that end up do causing drama. It happens to me all the time.
