Voting poll [Reset]

Sorry, geez. I had a bit of confusion over the reset that will be on Factions. "dud?" You mean 'Dude?' Don't Rush on your typing.

 

Yes, I have been waiting for a chance like this. I have always wanted to play factions, however due to nearly 95% of the map being used, I would need to run for half an hour just to find some natural trees and wood to get started.

I would say reset it.

 

I would love a faction reset, I recently joined faction and it seemed like everything near spawn is griefed or claimed and it's really hard to find a good place to build a base.
And a question, is the map getting only getting reseted with the same seed or are we gonna have a new world with a new seed.
I personally think we should reset everything including money and enderchests. It would be a good, new, clean start especially after all the duplication glitches and other glitches.

 

@MrDeathWilliam please give us an estimated time of when factions is going to reset.
I suggest reseting it by sunday because we have a whole week off so we will have time to start good again.

We need this. I would like to thank you for mentioning this poll in that conversation we had together @MrDeathWilliam, now all the people who have left will probably come back. I don't think there is much of a choice anyway since the majority is going to win. Right now it is 43 to 10. Majority who wants it reset wins

 

no plz i ned my vault i took months on it and i have allot of p4 some ppl feel the same way however conns duped stuff

I understand you want to keep your stuff but, sometimes you have to think of others opinions and feelings. It would benefit the community overall.

 

Okay I kinda agree with the reset for the reasons Willy mentioned BUT think about all the money and time people dedicated on their farms, bases etc. At least let us keep our money. Lazzy doesn't want that because he gave everything away and if the server resets without letting the players keep anything he would just get OP with his kits.

 

No I don't want that because a reset is to start over and is someone like Mzelden which has 10mill keeps that 10mill, then there will be no point for a reset for him.

Even though I have a faction with nearly 100 people in it and I have been playing for a long time, I would like Factions to reset but is it possible for us to keep our balance, maybe enderchest and faction people? That would be very appreciated by me.

Edit: Also, can we keep things like player power and kits that we separately purchased for factions?

 

Does this mean that I will finally be able to have some land for my faction? Hell yeahh!

 

All the kits will stay, but if you bought C-Eggs or Money it will be wiped

I agree, a reset would be fabulous. I would recommend getting rid of the kits totally, this is hardcore factions. I would also recommend getting rid of the Enderchests, because those would probably be used to store the duplicated Creeper Eggs, throwing off our economy right at the beginning of the reset, along with the Protection kits and stuff.

TL;DR: I'm all for a reset, remove the protection kits, and delete enderchest content (It can be used to store duped C-Eggs and other things that'd throw off the economy)

so... i decided... the server should be rested that is right. Too many dub ceggs and so on. But after the server get rested i will quit. Its better for this server to reset. I vote for yes.
I raided much in the last time i have now over 200 sets, builded my base for 3.5 mil in the nether, build the farm base, and the trap. So if the server get reseted i will give you guys the coords of my vault for last OP raid on that server for me. and i want to know WHO WON THE GAME...

Yes, mzelden (me - now "zmanmz") worked hard and spent a lot of time on the server getting the 9 million I currently have!!

I understand most of the reasons for doing a reset, but overall I am more against it than for it. I could change my mind
but it already looks like an overwhelming majority want it. Keeping my 9+ million balance would certainly help
sway my vote in the other direction. :-) I also have 3 stacks of gapples in my echest I wouldn't want to lose,
but I agree that those with duped ceggs would just store them in various faction member echests to
save them all if echests were kept.

What I really don't understand is Willy's statement and some others that have said:

"The current map is too used, barely no land left"

What?? Even the old world had so much land that was never touched and unclaimed. But even
if that was true with the 10K boundary, the 15K boundary made the over world 22 times bigger
and the areas between 10K-15K have hardly been touched at all (15K boundary for nether would be
good too btw). The only areas devastated are near the warzone and that will happen again a short
period of time after a reset. Speaking of which, there will be a mad rush for claiming land around
the warzone the instant the server is open for use again. Whoever is lucky enough to logon at that
time will get it. Not that anything can be done about that, just something to consider when voting.

A few other things to ponder:

1) OP and rich people will get OP and rich again.
2) There will always be new bugs / glitches.
3) There needs to be a way to compensate people for real money spent on items that will be gone,
be it creeper eggs or in game money. One idea may be to give any purchased made in the last
"n" weeks / months back to the persons that made the purchases.

Another thing I would bet my 9 million on: If a reset was done tomorrow and you took this same
pole 3 months from now, the results would be similar. (see #1 and #2 above). I've been hearing
talk about a reset since my balance hit 2 million. So many people told me "why are you trying
to get rich, there will be a reset soon".
