Why wouldn't you get a detention for that? Do you even realise the consequences of doing this?

- A class above or below you or somewhere next to you might have been doing a test or an important project, such loud and distracting music is a major problem (a few days ago I had a big test in history and outside my building there was a huge protest, I know what is it like).

- Turning on and off lights like that adds a lot to the electricity bill. And the school has to pay for it. Precious money that could have been used on important things, was used on a stupid thing some students did.

So yeah, sorry for being rude, but you deserved it.

 

Lol no it was after exams pfft so we got to do what ever we wanted we all got detention because my mate started swearing without realising a teacher was behind him. We all gor detention because we laughed. So yeah, sorry for being rude, but you deserved it.

Even if it was after exams, it was during school time and it still could have distracted a working class. And it's just like, inappropriate to do stuff like that at school. School isn't the place for stuff like that.

I was with like 15 others because for celebrating finishing our exams, we got to go on a school trip, but I didn't go.

Also, you did "deserve" it because you were trying to state the obvious where as you were completely wrong.

Okay, fine, there weren't any students who found it distracting. Even so, I still think you deserve it because

1) you didn't get permission from teachers to do this. If you wanted to celebrate finishing exams, you should have done it after school at somebody's house or something.

2) read the second reason on my first reply to this thread.

 

Ok, he got detention for doing something out of the ordinary. I know Vaicun was trying to just clarify on why he thought you got a detention. I see no problem in that and you should all respect each others opinions. That goes to both parties. Try not to blow things put of proportion like this again as it only leads to flaming and we don't want that. I am going to close this because there isn't really any need for further discussion.
