My opinion on what been going on around the server lately...

Lately, I have been seeing some stuff around the server, revamps, people leaving, the mods, etc etc.
1. Revamp. People, if the staff want to revamp, let them. It's THEIR server, not yours.
2. People leaving. Why? Some really great people are leaving, only due to a few people getting to them. Don't. Just ignore them, and chill with your friends, cause arguing with them is only going to make YOU feel worse, and they most times, feel a sense of accomplishment for making someone so sad that they want to leave. And most times, the people decide to come back. So, only make a thread about leaving if you are truly going to leave, even for a couple weeks, and stating exactly why, but not in a way that can start a flame war, not going to mention who, just, don't MENTION ANY NAMES. Having your name mentioned in a leaving thread, in a bad way, is really sad, and therefore you would mention something, therefore creating a flame war.
3. Mods. The staff are looking, and from what I know, no one has been chosen, but they are looking, and getting ready to choose. All/Most current mods will be [Mod+]. Remember, this is from what I know, not official information, if you want official information, contact some staff.
Recap of everything: I am looking forward to a revamp, but I have only heard about it. There is a 50% chance it is happening, but staff could decide not to. Don't get angry if they decide to do it/not to do it.
I don't want people leaving, but if YOU decide it is the right thing, or need 3-4 weeks to cool off, and not be around people who annoy the fluff out of you, then leave. I am not the boss of you, and will not feel obliged to stop you. Mods, I have seen some posts about not having enough, how they complain about having to much to do, when are the new ones getting chosen, etc etc. Leave the mods alone. Imagine you are a mod, and some donator rank is going around saying [Mod] ------- banned me for saying they were a horrible mod, and people started saying geez ------, why are you banning people for saying the truth? They do their job, don't make that job any harder then what it already is.
They have to go through the forums, make sure to temp-ban the right people, warn people, etc etc. They don't want to be hassled whilst doing this.
One last thing: The forums.
I have seen TONS of negative comments/threads. More then normal, recently, due to all the fuss about leaving, fake accounts, and much more. Stop before you post something. Is your content possibly, at all, going to cause even a small flame war? Make sure not to include people's names negatively, don't target things that people have done/like, in a negative way, Don't expect to be treated like royalty. And most of remember, people express their opinions. Like I am doing here. You may not agree with everything here, but you are allowed to comment why you don't agree. I am not going to get agitated if you express why you think the revamp shouldn't happen. Comment what you think.

 

Very well said, MappyTurtle. The problems with the community could easily be solved with action.

Forget our competition for a bit, think deserves a like.

Meh. I really am getting bored with both. Reasons why
Server: Same thing all the time
Forums: bare responses on my threads
TeamSpeak: I go on and people go "who's this epictntarrow guy?"

Not what I heard. I have heard from 3-5 people that they are becoming [Mod+]

 

Current moderators (from what I have heard) are becoming GameMasters as I heard. Once from a Moderator.

No one likes the revamp much. Don't leave cause your threads aren't getting attention. ;3

 

hmmmm well not just the revamp thread but my threads in general are ignored.....

 

I haven't seen many of them. Maybe due to your timezones? I post mine at 3pm-12am or 6am-12pm American time. Sometimes when I am up at midnight, I don't get many responses, yet at 6pm I get heaps. It's all due to timezones

I understand, but I have just one question. How do I tell people that someone has been bullying/hurting me and causing me to want to leave without starting a flame war? It seems like I can't ever tell anyone on here that I am being bullied without everyone getting pissed off at me... And when I try to stick up for my friends, it always seems like I am the one in the wrong because I am trying to defend My friends and I from bullies...
