Hey guys, pk here, So I'm not entirely sure how many of you peeps are actually tech savvy as I am but after saving up for way too long I finally go two matching monitors. If you're really care I bought two Asus VE247Hs. However after going through all the effort of completely redoing my setup I've just realized that now I have the opportunity to stretch a game across the two monitors; but I've never done it before. My question: Have you ever done it? And if so, has it worked and would you recommend it? Thanks, -Elliot
Lemme explain! No need to call wolf -.- well it kinda works but it splits your game in half making it hard to pay attention! Also it games like minecraft and League of Legends it's very hard to aim and stuff!
Unless the game is kinda made for something like that, I personally wouldn't recommend it with just 2 screens. Especially if you only have one video card.
2 monitors for gaming isn't really as good as it sounds and I wouldn't recommend it. HOWEVER, if you don't typically play FPS shooter games, and you have the money and graphics horsepower to run it, 3 monitors is a solid option :)
Wouldn't 3 monitor be more efficient, as with two, you'll have an awkward gap in the middle... maybe I'm just thinking with simracing in mind?
The problem is, i have a third monitor which works fine, but firstly, I only have two DVI ports on my graphics card, and this third monitor wouldn't support a HDMI cable, so even if I did get it to work it would be running on integrated graphics, but also the two matching monitors are 1920x1080 resolution, whilst this one is a very weird resolution, something like 1480x790 :P
