Life On Mars/Water

I heard there might be water on mars
I also might be life on mars
I also heard we might be going to mars in the near future
I also heard that we might TRY and colonize mars
What are your feelings on this topic?

I think. It's stupid. XD I mean really, if we try colonizing mars, that is sad for the human race. :o
For example.

Earth is being polluted everday
Remember earth didnt start out like earth today
Besides it would be a big step in man kind if we AT LEAST step foot on mars

i mean NO DUH earth didnt have highways at the begining
But i mean earths continents didnt look like what is today
And before life was even on earth there was probaly frozen water of some sort at the poles
Also mars has frozen water at the poles
Plus mars couldve provided or already provided life! It HAD water based on old water flow marks
And there can be water on it now undergroud
Weve been to wars already but weve never actualy set foot on

 

Caity, nobody has walked on Mars.. only rovers have. It's not stupid to move to Mars because we will probably have to since some people are ruining the planet we have now. It's the exact opposite of sad for the human race... if we actually put one of our own human beings on another planet! That would be humanity's largest accomplishment EVER! If the human race worked together and didn't waste trillions of dollars on wars, we could all colonize Mars very soon. When we all have to fly to Mars when we're all being destroyed by nuclear war, I'll keep your statement. Have fun in the war! <3

Were there more trees in 1813 or are there more tress in 2013?


The answer: 2013. The difference, we have laws to replant trees that we cut down. Either way if we cut down all the trees, we still get the majority of our oxygen from algae in the ocean. Otherwise, the Earth IS in a bad way, but at the direction were moving (which was unprecedented a few years ago) and hopefully keep moving, things will get better.

On Topic, it's said we would have a person on Mars in the next few years. Thats a pretty good thing, other than the fact of the harsh conditions.

 

See my avatar, that's one of the only things that could keep us on the Earth. Elon Musk is essentially the Savior of humanity. Hopefully more people will stop driving HUMMERs that eat holes in the ozone layer, and start driving Teslas that create no CO2 at all. More solar power, less coal power. But people don't seem to want to do that, since they're stupid. So Mars looks pretty good right now. GET OUT ZE UMBRELLAS AND FLORAL SHIRTS, WE'RE GOING ON VACATION TO HAWAI.... mars.

But then again, the combustion engine is a miracle of engineering, the bad think is just the fuel we used. Ethanol is looking like a good alternative.
