Well, it's just a story. Nothing more.

    Chapter One: The Beginning
"Sitting in a nice, clean room, where nothing can disturb you, as you fall into your slumber for the night to recharge for the next day that comes. Peaceful, isn't it? It's as calm as a still boat, waiting to be released to seek out the journey of its ocean that lies ahead of it, hoping to be on the waters, sailing the seven seas. However, what if things get a bit...tense? Say, you've got a report due tomorrow, and it's the end of Winter Break. You haven't started on your report yet, and you stay up all night trying to finish it. Finally, stressed out, you go to your bed still wearing your clothes, and fall into an uncomfortable nap. It's 6:00 am, and you finally wake up, groaning as you aboard the bus with the same clothes, now stained with an unbearable odor, with your open backpack as you head off to school. Now students, which one would you choose?" said Ms. Korzel.
I had always disliked school, being 13 in 7th grade, but on the eve of Winter Break, on a Friday
especially, after all the celebrations and assemblies, I was as exhausted as a puppy just running around the room for an hour, and it was almost the end of the school for 2 weeks, thus beginning longer sleep times, and most importantly, relaxation. I knew I had to just push through until it was 2:15, where I could get on the bus, get off the bus almost immediately being the first stop, and just fall on my couch and sleep. I eyed the clock as I wrapped up my 4 page long report on which ghost from A Christmas Carol was better, and noticed the time reading 2:10. Luckily, I only had one more sentence to go through, and quickly finished, rushing to my locker halfway across the school and downstairs. Packing up and heading to the bus was going to be a lot of fun for light-hearted Zach, rushing towards the bus door!
    I went too fast,
head-butting into one of the special kids. I say that they're special, because they have...issues. I tried to walk away, showing it was a mistake and saying sorry with my eyes, but the kid got very angry. With rage in his eyes, he flung a pair of closed scissors, aiming towards the side of my throat to slit it and let me die in pain by loss of blood. I avoided it, and it cut off half of a nearby teacher's hair. Taking my opportunity as both the kid and teacher were confused and slightly paralyzed, I ran towards the bus as fast as I could, got in my seat, and awaited for the ride home with no one else surprisingly on the bus.
The bus driver was just about as crazy as they could get. He had long, stretchy white hair, an eyepatch on his eye, and I'm pretty sure he was either a pirate, or someone trying to imitate a pirate when I saw his bootleg. He even had those little pot things you smoke out of, along with a long, hollow cylinder shaped stick beside him. Anyways, the bus ride was just as insane as he was, as the bus flew left and right around light corners, making the sharpest turns you've ever seen. Heck, that bus ride could probably win an award for sharpest turns, if there is one. Anyways, instead of walking out the door like a normal person to get to my house, the bus driver only lets passengers jump out of the window and do a roll to break the fall. Of course, it sounded crazy, but when I noticed him covering something on his pants, I decided to watch him carefully as I exited the bus. Climbing over the window, I saw him
unsheathe his mysterious object and fling it at me. It was a sharp pocket knife, and I quickly avoided it with quick reactions, surprised and all. I ran away to my house, and opened the door.

Surprisingly, it was unlocked, but when I saw my mother's car in the parking lot, I had no more suspicions. I look back at the bus and saw the bus driver put his finger to his neck as a gesture to kill me. He pulled out the hollow stick, and aimed it at me. I realized that it was no longer a stick, but instead a sniper rifle, as he carefully aimed it at me. Realizing he was a murderer I ran into the house and screamed for my mother.
There was no response, so I looked around the house a bit. I couldn't find her, and I got worried, so I decided that a quick wash to the face would help me calm down. I entered the upstairs bathroom, and to what my eyes would appear would be the walls stained with blood, and the covers in the bathtub closed. I did not want to open those covers, so I exited the room. Opening the door, I realized that the door was actually locked, and I had no way out. Now, I could either stay here until I die of thirst as sink water would increase the death time, or open the covers. I wasn't going to wait and die bored, so I hopped up on over the covers.
Opening the covers, there was no body, but instead a large gap that leaded to some mysterious light. Judging from what happened in the bathroom, I decided to try opening the door again, but when I turned around, there was no door. Hell, there wasn't even any more bathroom. The floor was closing in, and I had to make a quick choice to either fall into the portal, or jump into it. So, I took the obvious way. Wait until the floor crumbles, and then make an epic jump with cool flips and stuff while no one was watching, and land in the portal headfirst. A bright light took over my vision, and I entered a world where normal was anything but.
