Hello, Chief.

I've spent a total of fourteen (14) hours on this project, and I am hoping you enjoy it.

I went though long areas of going insane with colors, shapes, and other complicating areas.

Hope you enjoy.

It was said that the soldiers who abandoned their stations were forced to roam the lands of the Altstadt forest and be forever damned. Their bodies wrought by their tainted souls. In order for baron Alexander to create a portal to his home dimension, he needed vitae, a substance found in the blood of tortured victims. The Gatherers were the servants of Alexander. The Gatherers cannot be seen, only heard. Their prey can he heard screaming as their burlap sacks can be seen dragging away. This may explain the disappearances of the Altstadt villagers, as Alexander tortured them for their vitae. A theory of the grunt may be that the "strange creatures of Brennenburg" glimpsed in the gloomy archives and wine cellar were soldiers of the army outrider, Wilhelm, from the House of Gerich. Wilhelm's last words state: "My men are delirious, as their bodies are malformed. I feel my own bones begin to revolt against their god given nature. Blood has begun to pour from my eyes, and I can no longer..."

Another hint to this theory states that Alexander has locked Wilhelm and his men in the Wine Cellar, most likely with poisoned wine. A flashback in the game which reveals two soldiers drunk with wine is titled "transformation_01".
