A year and a half ago, I was afraid to watch MLP because if I watched it I thought I'd actually like it. then EXACTLY THAT happened. Then about 6 months ago, I was afraid to get into another fandom because if I did I thought I'd lose interest in MLP. then EXACTLY THAT happened.
Welp, it's pretty rare to stay in a fandom for more than a year... I mean look at me, everyone know me as the "Attack On Titan obsessed Vai" but I completely lost interest in it. I don't get excited every time there's an update, I don't get excited when I see Hangeki no Tsubasa news, I'm not fangirling over Annie as much as I used to in the past, and my cosplay... well I barely touch it, I only wear the jacket sometimes because it actually makes me warmer. So I guess Tokyo Ghoul replaced SnK? Hella
Honestly, I've been in my fandom for 2 years. That doesn't mean I necessarily -enjoy- the majority of episodes, or the fandom. Most of the fanfics and stories I see are . . . Distrurbing to the least, some are just flat-out NSFW material. So yea, a lot of the MLP Fandom is corrupted by lust and hormones. The rest of the community is war-torn about who's the 'best pony' I mean, really people? There will never be some master race, no perfect kind or factual opinions. Yet just about everyone is pointing a weapon at another, sparking flame wars(worse than the ones we have here). I simply try to ignore it and respect their opinions. Me? I'm part of that last 1% that realized the true meaning and ideals that the show was supposed to spread, and focus on those morals instead of bashing or fapping. If I ever do leave the MLP fandom, I'll just go to equine-furry. I'm already going to be volunteering at a local horse reservoir. So, in conclusion, I am still in a broken, worn-down, and ignored community just like this one o3o :p
Ive been a LOK fan for about 3 years now and i still like it. I also have started getting into new things, like japanese monster movies, tf2 and some other stuff. But im never really gonna lose interest in wjat i currently like now :p
I don't really have a fandom (well... jk it's Minecraft), but I see plenty of people at my school with fandoms like... 1) Spongebob 2) Homestuck 3) Minecraft 4) Sports 5) Memes (not certain that this is a fandom) 6) Whatever they can access that's not blocked.

I don't do much with fandoms, the most I've ever done was spam the meduka meguca 4chan thing with "bump"
I was completely afraid to touch the Japanese side of music and stuff, mainly because I was shown the pop stuff. Then, I found touhou. <3
