Am I the Only Person Who Thinks...

Athens, you are defiantly not the only person who thinks this. About everyone does. Something needs to be done about it.

Regicide, anyone? XD

 

It's sad, every one I used to play with almost a year ago are ALL GONE. There are a few people who still play (mostly the mods) but for the most part all my old friends are gone, I guess it's in with the new and out with the old. It's like a completely different server, every since the revamp and survival breaking.

 

Think of it like this: The forums is a small village. The elderly (Veterans) pass off and make room for the young children (New members). Soon, the elderly are almost all gone, besides for a few survivors. These survivors are tasked with teaching the children the ways of the past. The ways of the elderly. And in doing that, the children can invent new ways of doing things that coincide with the old ways.

The surviving veterans are basically the teachers, here to spread their wisdom and make the forums a better place.

That's were we come in. We are the Village Elders, the wise teachers here to teach the new ones the rules and such.

 

And like always, new people will come in, to fill the spots of the elderly. Wise, and childish alike will come to fill the spots we once took.

But for now, we, the surviving veterans, must wait until they come.

I think all of us "older" users can pretty much say we prefer the way things were back then.
Of course, times change. It doesn't just apply here, but it applies in real life too.
Well, what's done is done. Sadly, you can't go back and relive the past, but if I could, I definitely would.
Can't believe all this went down within a year.

I personally think Flame Wars are really getting out of hand on this server...

 

That's pretty much why I came back on the forums. I heard about the flame wars and spamming and how the whole system is just corrupt now. I came back to help. I was asked by a few people to come back and help actually as well.

 

Anyway... yes, I do think that. It's just due to flame wars, spammers and advertisers. I can barely take it anymore, as some of you may have seen from my ragey posts. xD

This... this is true. We are the elderly veterans. We are teaching the newer ones our ways. Then, as we leave, they start to become the veterans. It's a cycle! :3
