Just my few cents, cops are not trained to shoot people, unless there is real, cold, hard evidence that he (the cop)was going to get physically harmed, he had no right to pull the trigger. If the cop was attacked/ about to be attacked, he can shoot. Either way, he is not trained to shoot people, or attack them in any way, a police officer is supposed to be trained to maintain peace when situations arise. This is a misconception that seems to pop up when one of these cases do.

I think these cases (Trayvon Martin, the kid on the swing, etc) are just examples of the media over emphasising things, just like it's been mentioned earlier it seems to go as so:
White person kills white person-Media: meh
Black Guy person black person: Media: meh
Asian person kills Asian person-Media: meh
Spanish person kills Spanish person: meh
White person kills any other person than a white person Media: OMG SO RACIST KILL HIM/HE HAD THE RIGHT TO AS THE OTHER PERSON WAS AGGRESSIVE
Black person kills another person other than black person: meh

It's really stupid if you ask me, either we should start trying to try anybody who kills another person for murder, or mandate that every store has a video camera recording everywhere around the premises, which is expensive and intruding, so... heh, I guess it all boils down to the fact that history repeats itself because we humans are too irrational to stop it, emotions are quite possibly the only thing that have brought us to where we are...

 

If the cop was black, and the man who got shot was white, then where would we be?

 

*black man gets shot* It was his own fault
*girl gets raped* she was asking for it
*white boy shoots up a school* he is disturbed and needs help

 

No one would care, and if the masses/media do take interest in it, it wouldn't be to the magnitude of this case. There wouldn't be riots, or anything of that matter. The news would be like :" A police officer shot and killed a criminal", I've seen that before.

I agree that the cop shouldn't have taken it so far as in shooting the teenager six times. But you know what? If a cop is telling you to stop walking towards him and you continue walking towards him with your hands waving in the air making no sign of stopping, what do you expect? Just another reminder I'm siding neither of the two because I am so ducking upset and everyone who is rioting because of this. The fact that these rioters are saying they are "peacefully protesting" disgusts me. They have no respect for themselves or others matter of fact. And everyone wonders why some people are treated the way they are.

You cannot say that Mike Brown was charging at Darren Wilson because there is no proof so stop saying that it's suggested please.

There's not a single reason for Darren Wilson to have shot Mike Brown 6 times.
And I'm almost 100% positive of that.

the 12 jury members
3 of them were black
and the other 9 were white.
