Resignation and Farewell.

A year and a half ago, I would have laughed at the possibility of being addicted to a minecraft website for a month. But as time passed, I began to realise how fun being in a community was; how fun it was to be with all of you. However, all good things must come to an end.

Frankly, I’ve lost interest. Not just the server, but minecraft in general. A year and a half is long enough for me it seems; I’ve started to move on without even noticing. I began to play for shorter and shorter durations, and I started finding different things to do. It’s been a month since I‘ve noticed myself, and I’ve been thinking hard. This thread will be my official resignation, and an announcement of my leave.

Granted, I will be on now and then, perhaps anonymously. I’m not going to be like most and say, “You will never see me again”, because I admit it; it’s hard to leave from a community that’s been your everything and everyone for so long. But I’ve made my decision and I’m going to try to stick with it. Will I come back? I don’t really know for sure. Perhaps one day I get back into minecraft, I might come back and join you guys. But by then I know things would have changed, and the people as well.

During my stay here so many unexpected things happened. I never expected to stay this long, nor did I foresee my becoming of a staff member. I love this community with all my heart, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Although this is not really a surprise to me because you told me this beforehand, I still respect your decision regardless.
You were an awesome helper and you always had good judgement over many different topics, and I really liked that about you as a staff member. You were also the one staff member I would go to if I had any issues with people just in case, and you handled it effortlessly without any sign of hesitation.

I remember when me, you and Caity were talking in the Skyblock lobby, that's how I met you guys... We sure didn't like each other, at all.

Um..... I was at a loss of words when I saw this. You and I go back so far. You were the first OITC person to be promoted to helper. I remember the good old times (around December and January) in OITC when I'd kick your ass have fun playing you. You were on the leaderboard for the longest time, and it sucks that you got kicked off close to the reset. You deserve to be on that board to be remembered for your time there. However, you won't be needing it as your legacy will remain with us.
