I use a mac book air btw

So the problem is this: I have a broken "w" key on my keyboard. whenever i press the buttons around it, it does stuff like this:

    1w 2w 3w qw ew sw aw

and it sometimes stops, but it'll never stop D: It happened after I cleaned my keyboard.

Should I get one of those wireless keyboards for mac?

    EDIT: Another problem arose:

Using "Command C" and "Command V" (the copy and paste keys) now close my applications and safari tabs. Those keys are crucial to me, and it now closes applications :(

Just get another keyboard. This is also important to see what kind of problem you have; if it Carries over, then you know it's more than physical.

    Restart your computer.
If available, click update and restart. It may need to update.

I'm pretty sure that the operating system wouldn't cause this.
If this is happening, my best guess is that your keyboard got out of whack once you cleaned it. It's definitely possible.

Then again, there might be something on your computer that's messing with anything that handles keyboard key pressing.

Try the keyboard on a different computer, if available. If not, then I honestly have no clue.

    I restarted it 5 times.

And also, I found out the problem. The "w" managed to get itself fixed after i cleaned my keyboard, and seems to be "linked" to the other keys around it, unless I press the "w" key. The command C and V magically fixed itself now. Macs, why must you do this.
