Does Social Media Cause You To Not Have A Life?

I just got a new phone a while back and I've suddenly been obsessed with social media. The only account I have is an Instagram, but social media just fascinates me.

The most interesting part is that it causes people to essentially not have lives because they're so devoted to it. I confess to spending hours at a time browsing my Instagram feed...not proud of that...

I do chack my Instagram feed, but I post more often. I really think social media capitalises on life, that all people really post anyways

Confession here that I spend way beyond what I should on the internet. Like "Oh let me quick check youtube subs at 7pm" ... "Oh fuck it's 2am again :/" But oh well, spending 6 hours a day or more in social media to check things and stay in contact with friends. Too much? Yes? :D I have no life at all, my life is on the internet.

Somewhere between anime, youtube, facebook and poking weightwatchers with eating muffins.

Soon social media will become a part of our lives but only the few that don't get sucked in will prosper.
So in other words, I'm fucked over with YouTube.
And I mean only YouTube pretty much.

I don't have any other social media, I have some but I barely go on so yes.
I like to get off the computer when it's fall/winter. Summer is more my style.
