Ebola... Real? or A scam from the Media?

Before you say OH MY GOD EBOLA IS REAL PEOPLE DIE FROM THAT YOU ARE SO MEAN I HOPE YOU GET EBOLA AND DIE IN A HOLE. This is commonly talked about, and this does NOT reflect my own opinion at all. I'm just wondering what y'all think.

Any who, what do you guys think? Are you scared? I live in Cincinnati, OH, and when I heard about the thing in Cleveland, I was all like . So ya, I mean, I'm still going to school and all, but I still don't want to be peed on by someone with Ebola.

I live in Atlanta, I'm not necessarily scared, as the US and our infrastructure us pretty well developed. I mean, Nigeria just got rid of it there, so we probably can

 

DUDE. CHILL. Ebola isn't airborne so you can relax. Ebola protocols are changing so just sit back and don't worry.

People shouldn't be afraid... Maybe 10 deaths in usa in the worst scenario, the whole world is stressed out and observant about ebola so if the health care is doing their work then it will be(come) alright. (In america at least)

Viruses can mutate very easily. Each time RNA is transferred, a tiny piece of the genetic code changes. It is unlikely but possible that Ebola could become airborne before we neutralize it.
But Ebola is solving itself, for a reason that I'll explain at another point.

Lol, Ebola isn't a scam. It's actaully been around since 1976. I'm pretty sure that it's not a "Media scam". Even though that they are a- holes and such, they wouldn't "scam" us with something so serious. It makes me laugh we people think it's a scam.

But, in my personal opinion..I'm not "scared" of it. I don't think it'll reach my area of the United States. I'm not saying that it won't but it's possible. Oh, and I forgot, I live in OHIO....I usually keep updated on world and national happenings but this....I'm not quite sure if it's true that a woman "brought" it to Cleveland. And I live about...2 and a half hours from there. Anyways, there really isn't a need to freak out on these forums, imo. I'm just gonna stay neutral with this.

Ebola is real, Ebola is deadly, but shut up about it. It's been around for almost 40 years now. Stop assuming that sick people have Ebola unless you actually visit a person that has Ebola. Honestly, stop being so scared about Ebola, it won't spread to you unless you're dumb enough to stand next to a person with Ebola and have them cough or sneeze on you.
