My Pet Scorpion

I like to share my pet scorpion because she's so cool! And they're quite awesome in general.
Mine is a Fe-male emperor and named "Scuzz":p

Scorpions are one of my favorite animals and not really that expensive to keep or difficult to look after than some other animals. However, they may not be the easiest either..

I also be happy to answer any other questions:)


Here are some facts about Scorpions:

• Scorpions are fluorescent under ultraviolet light.
• Scorpions are closely related to spiders.
• There are almost 2,000 scorpion species, but only around 35 have strong enough poison to kill a person.
• Scorpions don’t have good vision in spite of the fact that it they have so many eyes.
• They rely on vibrations from their surroundings to help them determine what is taking place in their environment.
• Young Scorpions ride on their mothers back for the first weeks of life.
• The average lifespan in the wild for the Scorpion is 3 to 8 years in the wild (In captivity, they may live longer if within correct treatment)
• Antarctica is the only place on Earth where you won’t find the Scorpion living.
• Scorpions love to live around rocks and trees.
• They are nocturnal and will usually stay hidden during the day.

haha they don't have any intention to hurt you once they adapt to their home.I let mine run up and down my arm sometime and I'm completely fine :3

Can you like pet it and hug it without getting injured?

 

Does she make noise?

Does she have a personality?

And have you ever dropped her? What happened?

Scorpions interest me. I don't want one though.

Not really. If you try to grip it you will most proberbly get stung

1) sort of.. She has a terrible habit of banging her claws and legs against the tank at times like 3AM so it wakes me up- losing quite a lot of sleep over it really haha

2) She's quite short tempered at times and quite lazy at times aswell :P

Well we have loads of them in my village even in our house and they are fucking deadly.
