Shadow_Riolu, (NEW) Civilization Island Development Recruitment Thread.

Greetings everyone. I will be pretty direct and straightforward in this. So, recently, I have been going on my skyblock island back when I had a full party... It was shown in this thread, which is now locked.

I suppose I should have noticed that some people weren't very active on it, and we have already made so much progress, therefore, I ended up kicking those I have not seen much of. If you have been on my island before, and I kicked you due to incompatible timezones or incompatible times of being on, then tell me. Without further ado, let us begin the new application for this still developing island.

Rules? Of course there are rules.

1. No grieving. (Obvious) You will be removed immediately and blacklisted.
2. Do not take anything that doesn't belong to you (Unless in the community chest).
3. Keep ALL valuables in ECHEST or shop signed chests for safety.
4. Do not build your house any further outside the amount of space you are given, unless instructed to do so.
5. Do not harass anyone in the island. You will be removed immediately if so.
6. You MUST reapply at the minimum three days after you have been denied, if you have been denied.
7. Have fun. This is not meant to be a stress like thing. >.<
8. If you are accepted and someone states that they know you, you must like that person's post (If possible), otherwise it will be considered lying, and that person will be denied.
9. If you have a bad reputation, regardless knowing someone who has been accepted, you will be denied, possibly blacklisted.
10. Pay taxes on time (Whether you are paired or not). Unless notice is given, it will be treated as probation. Two weeks without payment will result in a removal of you (Or both of you depending on the situation).

Alright, so this is a bit different in comparison to the original recruitment thread. Now, we have built the second layer (Above) and we can finally begin building houses, apartments, etc. on it. This is meant to be an economy type thing and it is meant to be something for fun. There is a notice board for important events or announcements, so check it daily for important updates.

Activeness on Skyblock: I'm sometimes active, I used to play a lot but stopped, and now I want to start up again.

Why do you want to join?: I would like to join because I like the feel of being on a communal skyblock with a bunch of my friends, and it seems really fun, I have always wanted to try something like this, but never got around to it.
Why should we even consider you?: I have a few years of experience on skyblock, I am kind and will follow all rules given to me, I do not grief and will help out when I can.
Anything else?: All my times are counted in GMT +/- 00 and they are estimated times, they will change, but those times are active for now. I hope you accept me, it seems really fun, thanks.

Erm, sorry if I'm not supposed to put this here, but are we assigned areas for our houses, or do we just pick an area of our choice?

 

No worries, anything based off of the island CAN be placed here. As for your question, as long as it is empty, go for it, but make sure to have a sign or something of the sort to "Claim," it as your land.

I'd like to live in a paired house, I like working with others.

I will not grief, steal or harm anyone/anything on the island.
I have many friends on the island who know me and can support me on that.

I'd say 6/10, I'm not very active, but that's probably because I'm not added to a big island with people I know.

Why do you want to join?:
I want to join because I love playing SkyBlock. I rarely do it because playing alone is pretty boring. I love playing with others, especially when I know them. I know many people from Shadow's island, and I know they are kind and friendly. I'd like to join the 'team' and work together with my friends.
Another reason that I want to join is because I need something to do while moderating the skyblock server, but that shouldn't really matter to you :p.

Why should we even consider you?:
I guess you should consider me because I know how to work with others, I'm trustworthy and helpful. I can and want to help the island and its players.

Anything else?:
Not really.

 

@anratork59 (The reason we probably don't talk is because we haven't been on the server at the same time recently.) Yeah, good friend with me and xad, know others well, I am already aware you are very co-operative. You're in. It's alright if you can't be super active due to the fact that you are now a staff member, so don't worry as long as you come on from time to time. About the paired house, try to find someone who you would like to be in the same house with, and talk with them from there. Once you find out, it is suggested to design the house in Creative before moving the design onto the skyblock island. If needed, I will give a tour of the island. I will explain how to claim a house/area to build your house once on.

Will you grief? If not, do you have people who can support you on that statement?: Well I would certainly never grief as I have never griefed any other factions (on survival). I think that you could support me on this shadow as we are good friends on steam and even though I haven't been in your faction before I think you could still trust me.
Activeness on Skyblock: I'm on everyday or every two days as sometimes homework gets In the way.

Also, another question shadow, is there a height limit for our houses? Are we going to build another layer, or can we just build up to the limit?

 

There's no height limit, but I'm pretty sure they're going to build another layer.

 

Um... can I make an Iron golem farm?


EDIT: nvm they don't sell Villager egg... why...

 

I have 5 villager eggs, you can have them if I can use your iron golem farm :3

 

well... you need to in each slot.. so they will breed or I can some one move them around :P

And the farm will be for everyone :D

Hmm, i don't think anyone can support me on this statement due to me really not building a lot on other peoples plots/islands. But i wouldn't even grief my worst enemy, and why would i take chances of being banned, IMO grievers are freaking jerks.

Activeness on Skyblock: I really have nothing to do on it, i'll probably become a lot more active if i get to join

Schedule (Times available on Skyblock): On weekends i might not be on much, I'm usually busy.

Will you follow the rules?: I will do my best too, I hope to never break one.

Why do you want to join?: I would love to help build/ collect materials. I find skyblock a funner minigame with friends, hopefully i'll make more friends with this. I hope to help with stuff that's extremely hard to build, or save up money for something to the island.

Why should we even consider you?: I'm a good builder, very active during school days, i would love to help people having trouble with money/ building. Or if someone just needs information, I would love to help with anything.

Anything else?: I hope to make a lot of friends if i get chosen, and I also hope to help the island with building/ building holiday themes, and anything else needed.
