So, my brother got this thing from my friend, and when i saw it, i almost crapped my pants..

Check out this Big ol Beast, Its called a Z-machine, according to the thing on the side, and it is by far the most craziest Compootis i have ever seen, Apparently, this PC took about 3000 dollars to put together And take care of the thing and from what i hear that this thing isnt even 5 years old.

This thing right here is the water cooling system, it runs on distilled water and it has 4 fans on the top of it to keep the water cool while running. its mostly focused on the CPU and Hard drive as well as the 2 monster graphics card on the bottom.

This right here is the CPU, it gets most of the liquid cooling and has a bunch of cooling fans around it, idk much about computers, but maybe @~Wolf knows something about it :P

This is where the distilled water stays, Nothing really much to explain right here :P

These are the 2 Monster graphics cards sitting at the bottom along with a solid state drive, idk what kind of graphics cards these are but from what they look like they seem to be Pretty Modern

So, what is your opinion on this monstrosity of a machine? i personally think that this PC is awesome, but theirs one catch... we dont have anywhere to hook it up at :P cause we havent even got to see what type of OS it runs and we took this thing to a guy we know who knows a lot about computers and he said that this thing was top of the line for its time, but now there are machines that could top this thing. and if the liquid cooling broke your computer would be done, 3000 dollars down the crapper :P just my opinion.

Typically, the liquid cooling system has a non-conductive liquid in it, in case something like that happens.

    Also, WD Yellow drives?
    What?
He could have just payed for Blacks, and gotten the same performance.
    *shakes head*

That aside, that is one BA machine.

What are the specs? And also I like the custom water cooling and radiators

EDIT: by the looks of the size of the cooling block id say it's an AMD CPU

    NVidia for sure.

ATI has never used the SLI-like plugs, as far as I know.

And what else I know is that its not a really good card, since XFX do the low-end cards and not the high-end ones.

EDIT: its either an GTX 260 or a 280

    The specs are:
    • Windows 8.1
    • One-click overclock full-core Intel® Core™ i7 Processor with Turbo Gear, without rebooting
    • Multi-screen display with the latest NVIDIA® GeForce® and incredible SonicMaster technology
    • 10-way venting and liquid cooled CPU ensure ultimate stability in the heat of battle
    • Stable overclocking performance through stringent tests
    • The inbuilt lighting control aids in the change of color from standard blue to overclocked red
    • ASUS Wireless Charger tray for wireless recharging of smartphones and tablets1
This configurable monster packs Intel's fourth-generation "Haswell" processors, one-click overclocking, a multi-vented case, and GeForce GTX 780 graphics supporting up to four displays. Asus didn't provide a starting price, requiring potential customers to contact their local Asus rep for more information.

According to the base list of specs, the rig will have Intel Core i5 and i7 "Haswell" processor options. The company's press release mentions the Core i7-4770K processor as one of the available CPUs, and thanks to the company's one-click Turbo Gear overclocking tech, the chip can be pushed beyond its 3.7 GHz clock speed to 3.9 GHz (level 1) and 4.1 GHz (level 2). Sounds like fun.

On the GPU front, customers have options up to Nvidia's GeForce GTX 780 with 3 GB of GDDR5 VRAM. As previously stated, this high-end chip can support up to four displays and provide smooth 3D gaming thanks to Nvidia 3D Vision surround. All of this is cooled thanks to the desktop's 10-way venting design that utilizes 10 cooling fans.
It's totally mind-blowing what kind of computer I got.

They actually do use them c: My computer has an ATI card in it and as the SLI-like connectors (although not the exact same shape).

Anyway, I'm not into water cooling, but aside from that, system looks good c:

I don't get what WD yellows are for tho :L

WD Yellows are enterprise-grade hard drives. They're specifically built for servers and the like, and are meant to be placed in RAID arrays, typically RAID 5 and RAID 6. They have support for RAID-specific features, they're more reliable (thicker platters, dual controllers, etc), they have better error detection and correction code, etc.

Some of the features, like the dual controllers, are also present in the WD Black series, making it a very popular drive for the workstation and gaming computer market. Blacks are also, on average, $50-$100 less than the equivalent yellows.

So they're sort of a combination of black and red? :L
