NOT COMPOSE, I'M NOT MAKING A SONG. Arrange. The song I am going to arrange is, the song used in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive trailer. This is the music piece: I might start this on Friday. Also, I need your help to identify the violins, like what these "low" violins are called in the song, I don't know. I am also uploading this to musescore.com. Yeah… EDIT: I found a better video without all the voice overs and stuff EDIT #2: I found a video without the background noise from the SFM
oi oi the lowest violin string, is a G. if ur talkin about teh DEFAULT violin strings... also it depends how you tune ur violin. If you make the strings less tighter, they will be lower. the tighter the strings, the higher the pitch. but what do you need help with? just identifying the names? also I think @Oreo_Pug plays le violin too
identifying instruments that are key, except the French Horn, Trombone, Trumpets, Electric Guitar, and Violins.
At 0:53 it sounds cello-ish to me, with bass, and viola/violin-ish starting around 1:50, some guitar to connect parts. Synths at the quiet parts, Horns when it's tense drums of course. I play the violin too.
Edited: As @Lidia said. Also, it could be a viola. Could. The violin has 4 strings, E,A,D,G. G is the lowest sound on the violin. Good luck.
Also, this might take months of work. Trust me, it takes a LONG time to make a song on this application, and get the right counts in >_< EDIT: @Theminer30 Violoncello or Violoncellos? And which bass instrument?
Sounds like you're dealing with multiple cellos, so violoncellos. There's a various assortment of strings, so I would just add the viola, violin, and cellos. There's obviously an electric guitar, and the drums sound like a more mechanical kit. I honestly don't really know crap about drums, so can't help much there. XD Sounds like there's a few synths in there too... Other than that and the other instruments you already mentioned, I don't think there's really too many more outstanding (main) instruments in there, except sound effects, obviously. :P
I'm not an expert in identifying instruments, I don't really look deep into that stuff :/ Can anyone identify the time signature? :P
