(Creative Bugs) Disappearing Items/Blocks?

In which minigame/server does the bug occur: Creative 1, 2, 3
Detailed description of bug:
This bug has been inconveniencing me a bunch, and I would like to share my experiences with you :).
The Items/Blocks that Vanish:
Basically, when I was on Creative 1, where I usually hang, the server gets a tad of lag, and the lag causes it to make items/blocks vanish. So, when I was placing blocks, all of a sudden, it disappears, and when I hold items, it disappears as well. Is it due to my PC, or the server, and is this normal? (I have no idea at all).

Something that I would like to add:
I USED to disconnect from the server, but not anymore, because I think they fixed up a few bugs. :D

 

Seems just lag also Items clear after dcing from the server

 

Well, that was not concisely what I meant, but what I meant was that my items disappear when I am STILL on the server. (There are no disconnections for me, so...) @Cat1843Halo

Yes, I can verify this is a lag issue. /c
