What the heck ? 1.8 really bad

So hello there !
After the 1.8 update , it's been good , but there are AN LOOOOOT of bugs on it . Let me show you some
1. No 1.8 blocks
Seriosly -_- , why you update the server to 1.8 if you can't build on creative with the new blocks -_-
2. Serios lag
Omg , me and my friends we're using 1.8 but , the lag was horrible . It's like 2 frames per second . We can't build anything good and big on our plot cose lag .
3. Iron door
The iron door it's not working , the you put an lever , and open it , it opens , put when yo uwana close it IT JUST DON'T WANA CLOSE .
4. Worlds fallout
It should be calle Minefall form Titanfall for a reason . When you spawn and walk , you might find some canions of lag and bug in your face and if you fall in them , you fall some moments , than the worlds respawns and traps you down and suffocate .

Now i'm asking you guys , what's you ideeas to fix this problems ?

 

Get a new computer. New internet.

And, the 1.8 bit is just to let people using 1.8 connect, not adding full blocks etc.

 

Meh.. I could rant.. but i could go on forever..
2 things (3 actually)
1. Block-hitting = gone.
2. Where the hell are the name changes..
Lastly.. where the hell is the fps improvement? Mojang.. hardly screwed up.

 

1.8 shouldn't even be released yet, for that matter.

It's seriously buggy. As, @Enderbrine2_0 said to me the other day "1.8 the lag update" xD.
Just downgrade to 1.7.9 or 1.7.10 it'll stop the lag

 

They said name changes won't be in 1.8.

ALL updates are laggy for the first few days, but are you still playing 1.2? Just deal with it for a week.

 

1. It's hard for developers to implement all the things from 1.8 so they just made it 1.8 compatible.
2. The lag only lasts for a few hours/days, just keep playing 1.8 until the lag goes off. (If it doesn't work, switch back to 1.7.10)
3. The iron door works just fine
4. It's probably your internet not loading chunks or your computer not loading chunks properly.
If you're getting FPS lag, I recommend using Optifine 1.7.10
If it's server lag, it's either your internet is slow or the server is having problems.

 

Umm the server host has not updates to 1.8 so.. You can't craft 1.8 stuff. And every update has Bugs... And due to its the biggist update.... It may need work... So please just wait and stop posting these forms.

 

I have being dealing with it for a week -_-.
First of all 1.7 is not laggy.
1.8 dropped my fps by 15, I don't get that when 1.7.10 updated.
All updates can and cannot be laggy, it depends how your computer handles it, don't go assuming everyone gets lag, every single update.
Also, 1.8 is a big update (huge) so don't say "Deal with it for a week", because this update is not the same as 1.7 and all that stuff, so you can't compare it.

Pretty sure you have to turn on VBO's for an FPS boost

 

The server was not updated to 1.8

It was made compatible with 1.8

As in, you can log into a 1.7 server/w and use nearly everything just like you would in 1.7

It also seems as if these are all client-side problems. I have am average desktop computer and don't lag. If you have a laptop, go back to 1.7 and wait for 1.8 Optifine

 

I will wait till is UPDATED to 1.8 .
And i have the computer and the internet to play battlefield 4 and Dayz , why not minecraft 1.8 ??

 

the server is even lagging and giving time outs on 1.7.10, everyone has that. i have a laptop which is perfectly fine (its even a GAME laptop) and im ssitting next to my internet, but im still getting those stupid time outs. it would be pretty weird if so many people are complaining about this and they all have bad computers or bad connection e.g.

 

Today i got 10 timeouts , i counted them , MAAAAN IT'S SO ANOYING , 1 minute time i can onl stay

 

It's server side.

The host's having some interesting issues right now, and we can't do anything about that, soooo


Also, try enabling VBOs and other advanced OGL options - that should speed up your framerate.

 

Ah. Strange, as I seem to never have any lag o_O

 

Yeah, right now, the host apparently is having some network issues

 

Aight. Dammit J&H, choose a host that doesn't get connection problems >_>
