Even if you bend pins, shit won't work.
    You'll short out something.
    And toast your whole comp

I don't have this yet but I plan on getting this computer sometime this month:
    Processor: Intel i7 4770k (Might be uh...4790k? I think it's called)
Graphics Card: AMD R9 285x (I believe) (Might be 290x or something)
    Ram: 16gb 1600Mhz
    OS: Windows 8.1
Of course theres more parts to this build but I think these are the most important ones to share. (I might have messed up some of these parts since I did this off of the top of my head)

    Just saying.
The blue hard drives have an EXTREME early failure rate.
    Like...
They have the worst life possible - don't expect more than 3 years out of it.
Get a better drive while you can (if you want to stick with Western Digital, I recommend a Black drive. I wouldn't recommend Seagate, and Hitachi makes a really kick-ass drive)

Also, your monitor is probably a VH238H. It's your most popular 23" ASUS.

Save money and fall back to an unlocked i5 :P
I don't think you really need an i7, unless you're doing development and server stuff :P
(That way, you can get a (bigger) SSD :P)

I do animations and edits so I need a good processor (Which is also why I have 16gb of ram) (From my knowledge these are some of the key things to NOT lag in Cinema 4d)

    Unless you're vid editing, I'd say 16GB o f RAM is overkill.

Why have 2 cards? XD You can almost get a 780 with that.

    Ahh, I forgot about that.
Then yeah, full speed ahead with you
(btw, the 4770 and 4790 are super bad-ass. Hex and octo-cores)

Because 2 cards, in games that support SLI, will perform way better than a single 780.

And what about for games that DON'T support SLI?

Only reason I'd get a 2nd card is for the sake of PhysX processing.

The games that don't support SLI will be games that won't have a benefit of running on a 780.

I know I was on a small budget for HDD. I'm going to set up a 16TB network storage system soon
