Minecraft Favorite 1.8 addition?

What's your favorite thing added in 1.8?

I'd have to say the guardians, mojang has never impressed me as much with anything else they have ever made. Their models are amazing, and the temple is breathtaking. Plus I'm always a fan of finding and looting temples.

Also, doors, gates and fences being available in all wood types. It was quite annoying trying to make a house out of nothing but birch or dark oak and having to use oak doors and fences which made the building design very ugly.

 

Skin Layering.
Adding a 2nd layer to the body,
Which makes the skin designers makes the skins more artistic or realistic.
Example: Look at the skin contests made in Planet Minecraft, just so.. awesome.
It makes ya look cool to use. So when 1.8 comes out, I'll just update my skin with that is in the present timeline because my skin right now is more like the clothes I used in the 90s..
