Is a miracle and defys all logic
Anyway if you check my status as of the posting of this thread you would see this thread comming. I decided to go a little diffrent route then my "Is it Worth it" thread. But still gets the same point across.

So many people are leaving due to the comunity, and to this i say "are you blind?" Now before i go any further immaturity is very evident in this comunity, and yes some of us older members (beit age or experience) get a little frustrated by it. But this plays into what i have to say so well:
Yes inamturity is here. As this is a server full of teenagers and the some younger.

But thats what so amazing about this server. Its full of teenagers and then some. If you think of it servers like this defy all logic set by today's society. For one instance this server is owned and operated by miniors, the only person with a a true "administrator" function older then 20 is @RobyNub1337. Almost the rest of the entire staff is all teenagers. And do you know ho thoes teenagers govern? Other teenagers and then some. There is no other place on this planet that can boast that.

Even though the road may seem dark, This community is amazing, and we all should be proud and take pride in what we accomplished.

    Yes, a society.
A flawed society with people who aren't always perfect at governing.
Trust me, it's been better. Yes, it's practically a government. We know.
This tends to lead to more problems than it leads to amazement.
Then again, it's been this way since November...

I have to admit that you are right in so many ways, but tbh, I preferred the old forum community better.

I'm pretty sure any online community is better than a society where crime and murder exists. It isn't a massive surprise.

I was going to make something like this, as the community never changed. Maybe it did at the revamp, but people say it's becoming worse. It isn't, but they think it is so they tell other people it, and they believe it. Sure, there are immature people, but they're able to become mature when it's needed. We can fix problems ourselves, Roby won't always be there for us, like now. The community has to realize, that it isn't bad. Yet they started to dislike the people in the community, even if they are new or old players. We can help those people, with a new rule system it would be better. If they actually took the time to read some of the suggestions, that change the community to a better place, removal off ranks for example. There will be less spamming. Because there is nothing to spam for. The world is becoming sad, I've seen too many people become sad this year. Way more than last year. Something is going on I tell you. But, that's not the point. We have to stop being blind, and try to fix the problems we have, but I don't think we do. Except for spam, etc.

i dont know why but ever since I joined the forums it has literally been going downhill.. I joined right after the revamp, so I have no idea what the community was like before me.. If I have changed it at all, it must be for the worse. But I was actually thinking the same thing. This community is a miracle.

Everything has a beginning. Everything has an end.
The forums may fall, but J&H's popularity stands tall.

    Nothing will happen.

The forums will most definitely die out very soon.

There's no "SkyDoesMinecraft Forums" or "CaptainSparklez Forums" and they're huge.

If you want to do something right, go after Reddit. Instead of having anime, comics, ponies and speed cameras in one place, there are different places. If you want ponies, /r/MyLittlePony. If you want anime, /r/anime.

Let people make their own "sub-forums."

However, that does not matter. People will stop caring. Nobody will donate because they won't get any perks. They really do not care if their "life" goes down. You have to pay for your access to an apartment, you should not be able to get a free ride on something that requires money to live. Netflix does that. Mojang does that. Every company does that.

This place will die out, and it's a hell of a lot easier to leave before the storm than to be sucked out with the storm.

Gather the people that you actually want to talk to, take shelter in Steam, Reddit, Skype and whatever else.

When we all get sucked into the dark black hole of the internet and do not have any way to contact our friends, it is your fault for not preparing.

My opinion towards this topic is this. Having teenage staff is an extremely good thing, in fact, it keeps players coming back. Yes, it depends on their personality, and I'll get to that in a moment... Kinda.

Let's take a moment to think about the ages of Minecraft players. Some players I have seen, such as my little cousin, could start as little as age 4 or 5. Also, if you take the higher end of the age group, it can go up to 30. So, if you take these two numbers, the average would be around 14 or 15.(I'm not trying to be exact here). So, with this being a rough average, we can safely say that most of the MC players are around their teenage years, which means, there is a better chance of them being able to relate with staff, as well as be friends with them.

When you think about it, looking at some player's profiles on the forums here, aren't most of them teenagers? I mean, you rarely see someone under the age of 10 that is well known, and rarely see someone above the age of 26 or so, who is still active.

If the The Old forum community stilled lived on today then everything would be so much better. Sadly things changed and became more depressing :( I always wish it was like the old forums

All of you are whining about the old community going down the drain. When Im sitting here thinking that we can put the community together, look at the bright side, look at the people we still have. If we stop complaining and giving up, we could build this community back together, we can make this a happier place. Yea some people leave, some trolls come on, lots of drama threads, ignore it, the people that still stand today could form a better community. Pay attention on the new people that come.... Together we can make this a happier place.
