Okay, so this is going to be a creepy pasta. I'm writing just whatever I think of, on my...dark side. I woke up on a Monday morning. The temperature was 72 degrees, with a 30% chance of rain. Fortunately, my Karate was canceled and I had a free day. My friends were all either on vacation or busy with summer homework. I ate my breakfast, checked to see the new stuff on the forums and then loaded up Steam. I remember that I wanted to ask how to get better graphics on TF2. I went into the TF2 Discussions, and posted the thread. Shortly after, I got a reply. The username that had replied was IcicleZero. I read his reply, and he said to go into the Video options. It all made sense after that, and my graphics were much better. As I loaded up TF2, it loaded up a bit slower, but I figured that was just from the graphics being too HD. I wanted to play my favorite mini-game in TF2, Capture the Flag, where you capture a glowing briefcase that contains the enemy team's intelligence. It loaded up, and the servers that met search criteria were 102. It was interesting that it put me in the one with only one other person. I logged out of that server, and started to look for another. Eventually after having that over and over again, I looked at the player's name that was always there. The name was NOT IcicleZero. The username was BackHelp72. The username surprised me at first, and I decided to play. The player was not idle, but instead, an Engineer. He put a sentry placed so perfectly at the spawn guarding the intelligence that I had to be a Heavy to destroy it. As I carried the intelligence back to my base, I saw the player chasing me. He was a Scout, probably to outrun me. I killed him, but then I saw him pop up in front of me after a cloak, yet the Spy only has a cloak. This time, the clothes from the blue shirt on the Scout were a bit damp. It started to rain for half a minute, and he didn't attack. He just stood there. My screen started to flash violently. It started to stop, and the Scout vanished. I kept heading for my base, and I heard the announcer say something...garbled. I saw the red luggage have an exclamation mark next to it, so I knew he took the intelligence. As I followed the arrow, it lead to my spawnpoint. He was inside my spawnpoint! This time, the Scout's shirt had been Navy blue, and his pants looked all dark red. His skin looked more darker, and more shaded than usual. His eyes were a deep green, with a bit of black. He then exploded. However, the sentence in the upper-right corner that should have said something with his death and a skull with crossbones, had instead, said "He took the easy way out." I was taken back to the main menu, with some sort of blood on the selection bars. Creeped out by this, I closed TF2 and decided to play Minecraft, a more peaceful game. I went onto IJAH, and it was normal. I started telling everyone how that happened, and no one seemed to notice. They didn't even know I was there. Heck, I went in front of @Warden_Creeper and he didn't seem to notice me. I tried to ride people, but it showed "Unknown command. Type 'help' for help.". I tried to talk in chat to say "hello!" instead of saying what happened on TF2. As soon as I pressed enter, it kicked me for "What a touchin' story, eh?" Once I was able to join back in, I spawned in a dark room. There were signs on my sides, showing stuff in different languages that I couldn't read. The most interesting one was the one that said, "Watch your back, or you might take the easy way out." I turned around and there was nothing. I started to walk forward and I suddenly died. I tried to respawn, but it said "You can't respawn in Hardcore Mode!" so I could do nothing but go to the title screen. The Minecraft view had some differences. There was no sand, just water. The grass looked more chrome, and the trees's leaves had changed from bright green to a dark brown. The splash text said "The easy way out." Heck, SinglePlayer, MultiPlayer, and every other thing there had just said "The easy way out." I started to hear this laughter, which sounded like a mix from the Medic, Spy and Pyro, slowed down immensely, to be heard in a maniacal way. I clicked what would have been "Quit Game", and it shut off. My desktop background was not the usual cave I had. Instead, it had a close-up on the Scout's face. It was...well...creepy. One of his eyes was missing, his hat seemed like it was chewed off of and a knife that had belonged to the Spy was stuck inside his left cheek. I deleted the game TF2, got a new computer and re-downloaded Minecraft and TF2 again. But...I will never play as the Scout ever again.
Alright miner, if you wouldn't mind, I'd love to get a little bit of criticism. I will add another post if you are alright with it.
