I'm scared.............this happened in gabe's server, and right when I joiend the server, it started raining, and then I went out of my house to get some wood, and then I saw him D'; guys, he must BE REAL!!!

I also can't find the screenshot anymore, I put it as my TS avatar, but I couldn't find it anywhere not my desktop, or anywhere at all when I opened up this website...

Guys, he could be real. I also have evidence from john. When he went on the server, he said "hello" and the first thing he heard directly after he said that, was a DOOR SHUT.

Herobrine isn't real. I searched the MC files. He would be only real if he was in the MC files. He needs something like

herobrine.png with a herobrine skin. There is currently no herobrine.png. soooooo... Herobrine doesn't exist.

 

Also, Notch himself made, I believe, a tweet saying that Herobrine is not real, and some random person on the internet made it up.

 

Well basically how come so many let's plays have him?
I've seen that one famous youtuber seen herobrine.

Besides, herobrine is a virus. Also might be hacked into the game...

 

Dude, Herobrine is a Ghost. ghosts have Supernatural Powers so they can get in Games without having a MC file or code. Plus, I heard that he was there, When i said Hello, the Door shut in my house. No one was Around. Just me, No villagers, No NOTHING. hes real, Lidia has the Screenshot on her profile on TS im the only one who can see it.

Maybe Notch didn't know that "Herobrine" put a secret code in the game? Or the "secret code" is "removed" but "Herobrine" puts it back... Well I guess this is impossible... And the "secret code" is disguised as some code o.o

First up: There's no evidece in the files. No coding, no skins, no nothing.
Second: there's no way, even if a ghost did exist, that he could get on someone's computer and make himself show up

Okay, look at the signs. Herobrine could be a very well hidden code and texture inside the game. He could be promotional to gauge interest. Especially when there are no noticeable memorial to Notches brother.

 

Notch doesn't even have a brother, as far as I know.

And to John, no offense, but every single thing you have said in this thread is utter bullshit. Ghosts aren't real and don't have supernatural powers to hack into games. NONE of you have seen Herobrine because it doesn't exist.

If you got a private message from Herobrine on the forums, it was a troll. Someone probably registered the forum account "Herobrine" and messaged you.

 

I think Herobrine is just myth. Because they say all of their updates "Herobrine removed" :D So I don't believe to Herobrine :D :)

He isn't a "computer ghost." Those don't exist. If you really wanted to prove it, you would have to show a screenshot. Which you don't have.
Yes, Notch would lie about it because of the controversy that it creates. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no such thing. If you want actual scary things, there is something called smile.jpg that outranks Herobrine a ton.
If you are seeing this, I highly recommend you see a Psychiatrist or something... There is no ghost of minecraft, it's Mojang's way of trolling people.

First off, Potato and Cannoli are right. Everything in a game needs a coding and a texture. There is literally nothing as a "cumputer ghost" and I checked the coding myself. Nothing in it says "Herobrine"

Even with this evidence, I do have a theory. Now I can't prove it, and I haven't heard anything about this, but it would make this AAAAALL make sense.

It was on Gabe's server, and he was only in creative. He could've spawned in a zombie with a Herobrine head in the rain. He did spawn things by my house with 500 or so health. He also spawned in a Corruptor of worlds and a Revengeful Bob

 

Not every code needs a .png texture. His texture could be a different file format and be named differently.
