I am actually not surprised by this piece of info. I know just about as many guys as girls that would call themselves avid gamers.

 

But how many of them are actually gamers, and love the games they play?

How many of them just do it to brag that they're a "girl gamer" to attract guys?

Oh yes, because when talking to random people I know, I definitely go 'HEY LOOK AT ME, I PLAY GAAAMES. SEE, I HAVE SOME ON MY IPAD, I AM A GIRL GAMERRRERERERERE'.

You know, we're all human here, and a lot of girls do play video games...I know one who plays Fallout o_O

I really don't see this as a surprise...maybe the number being a little high in my opinion, but other than that, everything seems correct.
