Why did they remove /fly.. Most people bought it (without legend) and now are unable to do so. will they be refunded of this or not? Also, if someone already purchased stuff why is it removed from them? EULA can just take what we have donated? I've donated over $70 and i cant do that command?


Mojang either needs refund us or IJAH should. Money I used just went into the trash and its sad.

 

You still have /fly in lobbies, just not minigames (Skyblock, survival etc.) Once again, you DONATED. No one ever forced you to. Donating means giving money to help out something, which in this case is the server. You will NOT get any refunds. You we're lucky to get something in return in the first place.

 

I'm not demanding a refund. I'm just curious on why they removed the command.
Also, I'm not sure about this but am i one of the only people still able to do /echest? Everyone says they cant do it but i can.
And did they also take out /repair, /enchant, /wb, /fw, and /headgrabber ??

It's because of the EULA, they're no longer allowed to sell things that are unfair advantage. You're not supposed to do /echest.. I'll try it myself but will tag a staff member to check that out. @MrDeathWilliam They took out /repair, /enchant, /wb and other perks. /FW and /Headgrabber are still there since it is NOT really unfair advantages. (Theres a bug with /repair that I talked to an admin about which if you bought /repair seperatly you still have the command, incluiding me)

 

Yeah, I bought /echest, /repair, and /enchant seperatly so i have access to them all. But, thanks for informing me on the current problem. And Why was EULA issued? Better yet, what is EULA?

Another question (off-topic) : If was to create a Server (1.7.4 - 1.7.10) will i have to deal with EULA and if I am the server owner, will i have to agree to it?

 

It should be fixed some time because I talked too it to an admin (Not sure if it will stay at it is) The EULA is all explained on the Mojang website, you can search it up if you want to. EULA means End User's Liscense Agreement. and Yes you will have to agree to it, every servers has to. If not, they could be shut down.

 

So eventually i will not have any access to the separately purchased commands (/echest, /repair, /enchant) ?? And alright. Will Owner and [OP] Users of server have those powers?

 

And my final question to you @Lolingguy13 is do we still have the ability to create donator islands (donator, vip, whatthehai, itsharry, legend, hero, herobrine, and all the special islands)?

To sum it up, this is essentially what the EULA (End User License Agreement) has stated.

"Anything that affects gameplay cannot be purchased with hard currency"

So, anything that will give you an advantage in minigames/games by paying real money must be removed.
For example, /fly, extra homes, /enderchest, double xp.


Also, this is something I really hate to say, but we are not obligated to refund players.
The money you pay is considered a donation, in order to keep the server running.
I'm sorry, but unless the EULA is revoked, don't expect any minigame perks to come back, or refunds.
