They measure your speed, and a lot of people would be arrested if they were used at any sort of auto race.

Is speed cameras like your interest? I used have this weird interest too. Elevators. I've gone off them now(I realize it's pretty sad and I don't find them interesting anymore), and I used to watch this guy on YouTube, who took videos just of him riding in elevators. I watched him every day! :O He has 13k subscribers at the moment, I just don't get why so many people like him

I was once driving past a speed camera, and a car came up next us and as we went past the speed camera , the camera flashed. We got a bit scared that we might've got a fine, plus we were on the way to our holiday. But nothing came through to us with a fine so we were alright.

 

There is some marks on the road. The car must be at a mark that shows it's speeding for a fine.

In the UK the tolerance is 10%+1 but people say it is 10%+2 but the 2 is when you get a fine (since 2013 £100 and maybe 3 points)
