The other day I was in Halo 3... trying to play a game, but there wasn't anybody in Rumble Pit... so I started playing alone in the maps, like if I was walking in the park thinking in all the good memories that Halo gave me, remembering my pals wanting to play with them again. Remember when we all had our avatar in forums? Or when we used the armor generator to make a cool combination? When we used to play along with friends in order to get the vidmaster achievements? What about all those custom games with 15 friends, all with mics laughing and screaming about everything? Or all the friends we met by simply playing Halo? Who doesn't miss all the Halo nights with pizzas and sodas until 3am? Remember how every friday we expected the new playlist of double XP? Or the weird maps we spend hours making in Forge? Who didn't enjoyed those Lone Wolves games when you were at the limit and head to head against someone? Or when we shared our clips in the File Share? Remember when we spent hours trying to get a cool pic to be in Bungie's Favorites? Who didn't loved the campaign and was too hyped playing the end with a buddy? How many of us screamed the day we saw for the first time "Finish the fight"? And who will forget when we used to visit forums to join/create a clan? Who never visited YouTube to find put where the skulls was and spent hours in order to get the Hayabusa? And who loved the montages of the pros and we played trying to be like them? And all the fucking memories we shared just by Halo... This is the community I will ever miss. It's not the game, the people changed. Before everything was about sharing and for the fun, the skilled ones were with the skilled. Now everything is about trolling and winning for the sake of showing off. Halo 4 was good to me, a very well done (but diferent) game. But the people wasn't the same, I miss these games at night with all my buddies. We all grew up, the community now is all divided, now is all about YouTube and getting a nice gameplay, even if they don't enjoy the game. Fucking YouTube and the partnership program... the gaming community get fucked because now everyone can make money by playing. Halo was more than a game to me, hell... in Reach I met my best friend and the person that I fucking love, now we are just like any other friends, we don't play Halo anymore... but hell... a game did a lot for me. Fun, experiences, lessons... even the Spartans are heroes to me, even when they are just fictional characters. Halo will be always the best game ever to me. I don't care if there is a better game, this mark a part of my life. Thanks for all, Bungie... they made a masterpiece.
Mine would have to be the VERY 1st Monopoly Board Game... TBH, I still play that game with my family.
Pretty much a load of racing games xP I've changed... NFS: Undercover. I stopped playing this a while ago. I liked some of the songs in game as well as causing police chases, and getting away. When I found out (some years after I pretty much stopped playing) that one of my favourite bands' song was on the game, nostalgia. F Zero GX was another I played, it was actually quite good considering it was on the GameCube.
OMG wow... Umm, Halo: Reach Pokemon: Sapphire (not mine) Pokemon: Platinum Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Sonic Generations Club Penguin (1v1 ME BRAH, CARD JITSU) etc.
