Hello guys. Its me. I recently have found out that my computer may not have long to live. I got a error on Norton antivirus and i cannot get the latest updates. And it tells me that the liveupdate has completed with a unknown error. It simply will not fix itself. Idk what to do. I am thinking of contacting them to see what they can do. But for now. I may not be on minecraft for a while. I need to save up for a new computer. And its gonna take a while. I really dont want to lose my friends. I dont want to lose sera, perc albinobat, and all my other friends. I am literally crying as I type this. I dont want to lose you all. But for now, id like to say....Goodbye.

You could probably get a cheap used PC for like $150ish, but that would suck. Then again, Christmas is only 30 days away, your parents/grandparents/other family members may buy you one...

 

Im not sure if my computer is ok or not. I will check on it tomorrow to see if i can fix it

I hope you know that your computer won't die from a virus protector not updating. Infact. My family nearly sued norton, as we got a Trojan Horse from them to promote upgrading. We thought it'd be wise to spend $<500 to clean it out instead of $>1000 for a case we will lose. We ditched norton for McAfee.

I tell my stepdad the stories you tell me about norton, but he still trusts it. Idk what to do, so i am currently searching for a computer my dad uses pricewatch to buy computer parts, so yeah. Im going to learn how to build a computer. Just like Hai.

 

Home-made computers have pros and cons.

Cons: No warranty/Back-up. Once a part fails, you may be done for.

Pros: Reliable. You know every notch, crack, and wire in your computer. This makes it relatively easy to fix.

 

Nortan for me is reliable. I mean, my dad gets some of it free/off (idk EXACTLY) Because he went to college as a IT. :)

 

What's an IT exactly? And how is Norton reliable to you?

Well, that is true. But they may send me a backup disk along with the operating system installer when I build mine

 

A IT is a guy that's really good with computers and electronics. My dad got Nortan and it doesn't fail on me. Also, If you build it by yourself then idk :I
