Today i came online to the server and i saw 4 people blaming one person for being on his account and that that person sended porn on it and that that makes him banned (i dont gonna say names) anyway something like this happenend before in a diffrent way someone say he/she can give you a rank and than they change the password anyway now i gonna tell something, Never but than serious never share ur Minecraft (or from any site) the Password. you never know what someone will do with it even it is ur best friend most times it only gives you bad things like : Mute, Warning points , Ban , Drama , Hacked , Losing friends because of saying bad things. so i hope you guys understand it better you dont even share with ur little brother or sister i also saw things familair like that on the server (still dont gonna say names) So never Share ur password from anysite to anyone because it can't bring good stuff
Uuu... I am sorry, I can't understand what happened here... Did someone share their account? I am so lost...
I'm going to somewhat translate this (not being rude) so it's understandable to others. Today, I came onto the server, and I saw 4 people blaming 1 person for being on his account, and that that account had sent porn in the chat and were threatening to get him banned. (I'm not going to say names) Anyway, something like this happened before, in a different way. Someone says that they can give you a rank and then changes the password. Anyway, now, I'm going to say something. Never share your Minecraft password (Or any other password). You never know what someone will do with it, even if it is your best friend, most of the time it will only give you terrible consequences, such as: Mutes, warning points, bans, drama, being hacked, losing friends because the other person on your account has said horrible stuff to them, ect ect. So, I hope you guys understand it is better that you don't share your passwords, even with your little siblings. I also saw familiar occurrences on the server (Still am not going to mention names). So, all in all, never share you password from any site, games, or anything in general, even with your family & friends, as it won't end up in a good situation. Hopefully my translation might help in the understanding of this thread. c:
It's not that bad, it's just some people can't understand it. I could, therefore I was able to translate it c:
I think this thread will help. But, in my opinion. I think *nearly* everyone on the forums know this already. The most people that get spammed/scammed don't even have a forum account. Still, nice thread. ;P
not all because it still happenend even today i saw someone talking about it so not everyone know's it and yes it was someone from the forums
how? i just try to beware the people.... and than i do things wrong again.... just wow gg staff btw i will msg you who it is
Yah I think this could be taken as minor mini-modding. King is talking about consequences for these things such as mutes, bans, etc., when the staff are meant to do that since they're the ones with the permissions lol. Also, this is preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty much common sense not to give passwords away. If it happens, it's whoever owned the account's fault for giving it away. Hell, it even TELLS you on minecraft.net when you make an account not to share your password ever.
Exactly. Besides, why would you give away your password? It's the only thing keeping bad people from your account and doing terrible things with it you never would do. It's dumb, and @kinghakaka, thank you for sharing this! Although as said above, it is mini-modding, buuuut it helps those newbs on the interweb who don't know a single thing about a password and what it does do.
@Xadidax and @Theminer30 thanks ^^ anyway @DWG715 i dont try to minimodding :$ i just tryed to help anyway if i notice something again i wont share it anymore... because i dont wat to get in trouble because of helping
I still don't understand the thoughts running through peeps minds when they share their password. I guess it's like this "wow this person seems nice I'm going to give them my password because nothing bad could happen right?" *facepalm*
