Welcome back to the Mansion! It is time...for episode 10! As always, here is a single hint that will lead you to the murderer...if you can find it out! Let's get started! Sunlight shined in through room #2 as Athens opened his eyes and started his boring routine. He felt his face, said “Hello” to no one in particular, and then slowly got out of bed. ‘Good, not dead.’ He thought to himself. Since he was currently the only one who was not in an alliance, it seemed like every day he was the most likely to be killed. ‘Then again, people have died after morning’. He quickly got that thought out of his head, and continued on his morning routine, walking downstairs into the foyer. He was the first one there, besides the host of course. The host was always the first one away. Athens said a drowsy “good morning”, to which the host replied with a simple wave of his hand. As always, he spoke very rarely. THE MANSION: EPISODE 10: “Travel” As per usual, everyone slowly gathered into the foyer, each mumbling their own version of hello, or just saying nothing at all. However, something was different today. Everyone was there. Everyone was alive. This, however, was both a good and a bad thing. On the good side, it meant that no one was dead. On the bad side, it meant that chances were that someone was going to die within the day. Almost everyone’s minds were wandering, thinking of what was going to happen within the day. Their thoughts were interrupted by the host. “Hello everyone. As promised, we will be taking a little vacation from the Mansion.” His sentence was greeted with whoops and cheers from the 8 remaining houseguests. After all, living in a stuffy mansion can get pretty old at times. “Where are we going, then?” Claire inquired. “You will just have to find out for yourselves.” The host stated, being as decisive as ever. ~~~ For the first time in the past week, everyone was leaving the Mansion. And pretty much everyone was excited. “Where do you think we’re gonna be going?” Claire repeated to her fellow alliance, as she boarded one of the three limos, along with Athens as the fourth. “I’m guessing New York.” Demon said. “I’d say somewhere more foreign.” Bunnie added. “Maybe China or Japan?” Athens sat there, saying nothing. He was simply looking outside the car. On the inside, his head was almost like a factory, producing new ideas and connecting others. Every moment that wasn’t taken up by this sick game was filled with thinking. Any time he could spend to help save his butt was time well spent. “There’s no way they would fly us that far away.” Demon responded. “I doubt it will be outside the US.” “I’d guess Alaska or Hawaii.” Claire said. “Somewhere not too far away but different enough. “If Hubble was here,” Bunnie stated, “He would’ve said Choco-Loco ville.” All three meatballs spent a moment reminiscing their fallen friend. But this just caused them to be more motivated to win, to save themselves. Athens was the only one who was aware of the idea that a single player would escape this death trap. ~~~ In Limo #2, there was dead silence. Both duos, those duos being Booze and Spicy as well as VGG and Gallade, were planning to talk extreme strategy, but with other ears being present in the limo, it lead to a very awkward ride. “So…how has you guys been?” Gallade said, attempting to start chat. “Good.” Spicy and Booze said in unison. ‘Well, that didn’t work.’ Gallade thought. “Is that…the airport?” VGG asked. All three other limo members proceeded to peer out the window. Sure enough, they were at the airport. ~~~ One short plane ride later, and the 8 remaining players stepped off the plane, greeted with palm trees and a glorious sunset. “Welcome to Hawaii!” said a local, greeting them. “Thank you!” Spicy said, leaving the airplane first. “I knew it!” Claire explained. “You guys owe me 10 bucks each.” Both Demon and Bunnie sighed under their breaths, each of them with 10 dollars down the drain. The local shushed all three of them, leading everyone to a house located just a few yards away from the landing strip. “So are we just allowed to go crazy in the house?” Booze questioned. “Sure!” said the local. “Just, by the way…there’s a guy who lives in this house, however he only stays in his room. Avoid eye contact with him.” Although a little weirded out, everyone ran as fast as they could to explore this new house they were given. Gallade ran directly up to the rooms to see what they looked like. Upon entering the first room, there was a single computer, a chair, and one man curled up into a ball. “Hello?” Gallade called out to the man on the chair. “It’s Finn…I know it’s Finn!” the man chanted, repeatedly. Gallade closed the door and mentally blocked the whole scene. ~~~ Almost immediately after dinner, Spicy went up to his room to start writing. He had been closer than ever to determining the killer within recent times, and just needed to gather a bit of details to find out. Booze, meanwhile, walked up to Spicy’s room, knocking on his door 3 times. Upon no answer, he called out “I’m opening up the door!” A little inkling in the back of his head said ‘He’s dead! It’s no use!’, but he ignored that and slowly creaked the door open. Inside, he saw exactly what he was trying to avoid. Spicy’s body…burnt to a crisp. “GUUUUUUUYS!” ~~~ Everybody gathered around Spicy’s body. They had no clue where the host was but they ignored that fact. “Are you guys sure it’s his body?” Bunnie asked. “There’s really no way to know.” VGG responded. Athens pointed to the table next to the site of the body. “There’s paper over there.” Claire, being the closest to the paper, picked it up. It read: “3d15, 9a7, 2o8, 5v5” “Look, I’m too tired for number puzzles, I’m going to bed.” Gallade stated, blatantly. A few others did a bit of searching and thinking, but at the end of the day, none of them had an idea what the words or numbers meant. One by one they retired to their beds. As always, they had the same note on their bed. The paper read: Write down the name of who you think is the murderer, along with a theory on why you suspect him or her, (optional) and send it through the comments. You can also send it through a conversation if you do not want anyone knowing. Depending on how close you are to the murderer, you will have less of a chance to be killed tomorrow. Me, because I checked all the rooms but somehow did not see the dead man before anybody else (would this mean I know where he was located?).
It took me 18 hours of rereading the whole story @Spicy . Looking in the hints, the happenings, Logic, Studying the movements.. and.. The numbers. Good game Spicy.
Wait, hold up. Wasn't it a rule (that Spicy forgot to mention) that you shouldn't vote for yourself? But still, I'm firm on Athens being the murderer.
It is a rule. NO VOTING FOR YOURSELF, BECAUSE: If you're the murderer, you're instantly exempt from the random generator that decides who kills who. By voting for yourself, you are essentially wasting your vote, and having a more likely chance of being killed, @galladepow.
I guess I will vote for bunnie... They seemed to deny the fact that it was Spicy's body, possibly trying to hide something... Their Real Identity
I vote for gallade... he was the one who DIDN'T want to do the number puzzle because he MURDERED HIM! and it revealed something secret about him maybe THE SECRETS WILL BE REVEALED
