That Weekend [July 11th - July 13th 2014] [Long Story]

I just had a question about what the cracker thing was. I looked up what the monstrance was, and I understand that it's supposed to symbolize to "Body of Christ" or something. Why was it symbolic and powerful?

Just a question...

 

I may not be the best at explaining religion, but the Eucharist resembles the Body of Christ.

When the Body of Christ is in the monstrance, it resembles Jesus Christ our God and Savior. It is very powerful and intense during adoration basically because it is a time of prayer and worship as we await for the second coming. We prayer for strength, cc

I can see that you probably not Christian so it is ok to be curious about other religions, but your other comment that was removed was just sounding offensive to me and a few others. Your post you made just now is ok with me, thanks for doing that. Just remember to try to please respect other religions next time because sometimes commenting about other religions can be considered offensive like that at first.

Standing up and go to the girl, but also..
People believe what they want to believe. Everybody is not perfect, They have different different opinions, personalities, beliefs and ways on their curiosity on the unknown.

An inspiring weeked you have there Cobra. Nothing less, Nothing much. Just an inspiring weeked, I wish I have that type of weekend Cobra.

I would like to say thanks to those who took the time to read about my experience the past weekend. It was honestly one of the best weekends I have ever experienced in my life and I wanted to share it with you guys so you can be inspired by my experience.

My favorite moments were with the girl I was talking about. I was really a shy boy towards girls throughout my adolescence and had many crushes on some girls, but I never had that true confidence to do something like I did that the 2nd half of the trip from embracing the girl to the end. Yes I may have asked someone to homecoming last year or I tried asking a couple of other girls out, but that night was truly showed how confident I can be, no matter how socially awkward I am.

I'll be trying to pray for your strength, courage, or anything else if you have something going on in your life that bothers you. I may not be the smartest or most religious person you will know, but at least I can contribute. Just remember, no matter what religion, be thankful that you have friends who support you including me or a family that loves you no matter how many ups and downs have occurred. Thanks once again for those who read this inspirational story. God bless.

This is a very inspiring story.

Now, I don't want you to think that I would hate you because you're catholic. I don't mind, we have our beliefs. We both believe we have a God. Allah or Jesus, we don't believe in the same thing, but what can we do? we believe in what we believe :)

We might not have the same religion, we might not have people who respect each other's religions (Most of them, at least.), but I'm glad I am your friend.

I read the whole thing, and first I would like to say it was an extremely inspirational story. I believe it will bring positive emotions and confidence to everyone who reads it.
I think the fact that you simply ignored your fear, didn't care what other people thought of you, and did what was the right thing to do to comfort and support someone else is simply amazing. That's a really daunting and difficult task.

I went to a youth camp two weeks ago! It was awesome, and powerful!
It was 5 days long, but I felt really homesick and stomach sick on the last full day.....
Your story was great, and I first started to search up Psalm 23, but then realized I should read it in a real bible. As soon as I ready it, it filled me with hope! Thanks!
