is this legit or will make my chances low?

ummm i was tempbanned from the server by @Ncecal for hacking in sumo and i couldnt forgive myself unless i do make something that will make people happyy,so i started to think: what do people want the most in minecraft? then this video about animations came up and i instantly started a thread about free renders (old one is locked)but i had 1 problem...my card was not opengl supported,so i kept doing everything i could from restarting to even removing and replacing my display adapter,untill one day i was playing minecraft and i accidently opened cinema 4d (i was holding shift and control) and it worked, i instantly started the new Free Renders V2.0 and began practising cinema 4d, but thats not my question....

well if you were tempbanned, will it lower your chances alot or few,even if you do something nice to people will it increase your chances?

EDIT: what all i ment was well any kind of ban decrease my chances of getting ranks when applying? only answer yes or no,

 

It might lower your chances, but I highly doubt it would, I mean, it's an one off, right? You don't plan to do it again? Multiple bans decrease your chances hugely, but one, nah.

 

Everyone makes mistakes, this being no exception. Though this could lower your chances, it doesnt mean you wont be accepted, but this does make the chances unlikey.

 

A few people on staff have a history of hacking, so...
It might, but shouldn't toooo much.
