Glitches: Allowed vs. Banned

Okay, we all know there are some glitches that are allowed, and some that are not.

I would like everyone to describe the glitches they are aware of that work on the server, list which all servers they apply to, and tell why they should be allowed, or why they should be banned. (Or, if conflicted, tell both sides.)

EDIT: I'm basically letting the public lend us a hand with one of the guidelines we're writing.

 

Anvil= Not allowed
Annoying and shouldnt be tolerated

 

The Enderpearl Bug/Glitch = Allowed.
A used tactic/stragedy in the minigame: Factions.

 

I know many glitches, but most of them are Minecraft glitches.
There are 3 glitches in the lobby.

1. The Sumo glitch (I can PM you (Roby) about it if it's needed)
2. The compass item glitch (Which allows the player to take out the items)
3. And the sound glitch (For some reason, let's say the player placed an anvil. The anvil will disappear but the sound will still be played)

The first two glitches are fine in my opinion, they cause no damage. But the sound glitch can be really annoying sometimes...

Chest glitch. You can just walk into chests and jump over and over and walking/sprinting at the same time. Once you get in the chest. you can jump and get on top of 2 chests with no parkour or placing blocks. Ask me if you want to see.

 

Adding information to this:
People use this most of the times to spam it, people also can't go against them, they can only ask them to stop.
Many people are getting bothered with this, and it's technically seen as abusing the compass glitch.

So yes, I agree with Noahnoobfax.

Also,

I agree with this as well, it's one of the best ways to get inside a base, without it it's almost impossible to enter someone else his fortified territory
and it's a nice tactic.

 

The one I know and like to use for strategy is the tp glitch. Basically, if you tp to someone when they're in water or lava, it will detect that and will send you to the nearest air pocket.
This should be allowed since there are ways o prevent against this (just doesn't make things always look nice :p)
If i think of more, I'll post them later on.

 

The chest steal glitch in survival

Definitely not allowed

 

There is a way to prevent it: put an air pocket in your base layering.
Or, actually, if there's water on the inside walls of the base, you can't tp glitch in (we learned that when we tried to get into Bliss' base way back when).
So, it's preventable, but inconveniently so.

 

What do you mean no anvil?

 

In the compass

 

Explain.

 

There is a glitch where if you double right click the compass really fast, you can take stuff out, and there is an anvil.
You can take it out, not place it, but it will make the anvil sound.
People can spam the sound too

Im pretty sure your talking about the glowstone and I dont think thats fixable.

 

Still. Nope don't use. It's glitching and gives you an unfair advantage.
