Why -shouldn't- you be staff?!

Okay, so I know this seems odd, that I put a "forum game" here. But well. I have a reason for it being here in off-topic, which I will not be explaining. :) Please do not speculate on this in this thread, that is not what this thread is about.

Anyway, we're going to play a game of "Why -shouldn't- you be staff?!"

Here's how it works.

First, you list all the reasons why you do not qualify for a staff position. What's wrong with you?

Once you have listed all the reasons, including any personal flaws that might be a reason, you are to then, at the bottom of your post, after all that, list -one- reason why the poster above you does not qualify for staff. (Please attempt to list something they didn't include in their post.)

Please be serious with your answers. This is -not- like the "ban the person above you" forum game, where you list off goofy or not necessarily true reasons, for fun. Give me your best, most honest answers you can. :)

 

I'm really inactive on the server and I don't take much responsibility. I am pretty much a troublemaker IRL.

 

I have a tendency to make unneeded comments.

I am anti-social, I would probably go missing one day. I get grounded a ton. And I am not really allowed to get on minecraft on school nights.

I have maturity issues, which is the reason I got banned here before. I am arrogant at times. I get emotional, and attack others with no cause to know end. Once I start, I can't stop. I am probably known as the "King of Flame Wars" here. Whenever a flame war appeared, I was either the cause of it, a main influence/part in it, or joined in along the way. I'm looked at as a trouble maker, to which I don't deny.

I follow the wrong groups, get too involved in them, and end up using their advice (sometimes) and hurt others. When I hurt others, I have no remorse. Some staff don't like me too well, and I dislike other staff.


As for @KittyGoddess16 , I don't know you too well. However, you seem newer to these forums, and haven't been around as long as others. Taking time to get better known could increase your chances.

And to Dao...is this an experiment, like Hai and the "Well-Known-Member Section" on the old forums?

Well for one, I do make small posts every now and then. And i do act immature every once in a while.

Ahhh pyro, you just seem to have the wrong jump on helping the community sometimes, and that can be pretty bad.

Your hatred towards some staff isnt the best either

I can be immature from time to time, and I can also mess up if I am tired or having a bad day.
I can also be pretty annoying, this is what some people think of me.
I am an honest person, which can be very bad, or very good.
I can't think of more to be honest.

About being immature, I can say something stupid or other things like that.

I don't like playing minecraft and spending time on the server due to the low frames I get, so I'm pretty inactive there....
I'm either liked or hated, rarely in between...
I've been banned on 3 occasions, twice on forums and once on ts. Two issued out by you (Dao)
I'm not as old as many, only reaching a year on the server earlier this month, and joined the forums 4th Nov.
I post more than the average user, like, a lot.

As, for me people would probably hate me because,of my honesty.

 

Reasons as to why I do not qualify for staff + Reason:
-My attitude. I have a tendency to be more dark than necessary. Heck, I even had a squid named in bold and red, "I hate you all." I understand this seems immature, but I have my reasons for that. Really, the whole point I put, "Attitude," there, was because I normally act far too serious. I rarely laugh or smile, as most people are already aware of, and normally, when I do laugh, it is normally out of something unusual. Yes, I do have anger issues, but it never gets to the point I rage at someone, unless they say things, such as:
"You're an emo person aren't you? You're just going to commit suicide because of your emoness aren't you? Go **** yourself."
That is when I burst. Normally, I am able to keep my attitude to the point where I don't show any signs of emotion, and I normally control my hidden feelings and my occasional rage outbursts, but unless people take it over the top, I am normally calm.
-Depression. Yes, I am depressed. I am even consulting help in real life. Sometimes, that gets in the way of my mind, and I end up saying things that make people think bad of me. No, I rarely show this, so do not worry on this, but yes, this is a reason. I go through racism in school, and when I see racism in the chat, I burst. Take that as an example. If something bad has happened to me, I break out onto the person as if I had the intent to kill.
-Anger Issues. I am sure you saw this one coming. Yes, I have anger issues, to the max. Although I can control them, when I let lose, I am a living hell. For example, some of you know that people have copied my whole soul stealing trend, and even had stuff like this as their profile status: "I am the true SoulKeeper. @Shadow_Riolu is nothing as me. Bow to my might." just to troll me and piss me off. Either that or they are trying to get attention. Anyways, when this happened, I nearly went insane with anger and started thinking things that should not have been thought to that person, thus allowing me to form a grudge towards that person. Nothing more needed to be said.
-Trust Issues. Yes, trust issues. They are very severe. Due to in real life history, I have issues trusting anyone. Yes, I will trust those I know well and all, however, I am aware that a hacker can deceive. If one got even ONE slightest piece of information of me, I could be identity hacked. Why do you think I removed everything of me from my profile? My age and gender?
-No self confidence. Or being flat out paranoid. I do not have self confidence. I always think of the worse. If I finish a test for example, I would think, "Oh great, I am going to fail. I might as well go tell my mother as she is going to kill me." As for being paranoid, sometimes, this is my mind. "Oh great, I know I checked the backpack twice, but what if I leave it here? I can never get it back..."

That is all I can think of myself that would be of flaws.

@ForeverTruthful2u , the one above me, the reason you would not qualify as staff... Well, to be honest, I do not know you all that well... The only thing I know of you is that you are *Occasionally* immature, as to your posts before. Other than that, I do not see much of a flaw in you. Either that, or I just do not know you well enough to answer that.

 

I don't want to be staff member because..
I have good desicions but they are pretty Outragious.
I have been Staff member to different servers but I can't stand the annoying players.
I have enough being a staff member, It was the last straw.
My schedule is tight, so I won't be online that much.
I misinterpret posts.
My grammar is terrible.
I easily depress.

Well... many things to be honest.

First, I get hostile when someone hates on the Beatles or when someone says something that offends me. Honestly not good.

Second, my depression is bringing me down most of the time.

Third, I can't think straight.

Fourth, I'm too apologetic.

Fifth, I see myself as a bad role model for other people.

Sixth, I can't explain stuff correctly.

Seventh, I have moments where my brain just malfunctions.

Eighth, I like reading stuff.

Ninth, I act immature alot.

Tenth, I'm never sure about my actions.

Eleventh, bipolar disorder.

Twelfth, dyslexia.

Thirteenth, I complain too much.

Fourteenth, anger issues.

Fifteenth, I cry alot.

 

I feel like I'm not the most mature person.
I don't really like punishing people... at all.
I feel like I can help the community without being a helper too.

I don't want to be a helper anyways xD (Main reason I closed my staff application)...

But, I do agree with you. I'm serious when I need to, and immature when I'm not.
Yes, I have a ego the size of Canada.lol

 

Basically the same with me, Im serious when it comes to help threads or staff apps, but im silly when it comes to these sections.

I'm serious some times. If I was a bit more serious and less errm.. Immature I guess then maybe I will apply again.
