Part 4
SPOILER: A person dies lololol

Enderbrine looked from Mappy to Kitty, then back again. He smiled and took her hand. "Let's do this." They shook hands then looked back to their weapons. "Sefex, let's do this." Enderbrine said, watching Sefex begin to glow and change shape into a scythe. Grabbing it by the shaft, he turned and looked at Mappy, holding a 7 foot staff in her hands. At the top there was a red sphere, with two swirls of red around it. "So, what does that do?" Enderbrine asked. Suddenly there was a banding at the back of the van. "OPEN UP!" The banging continued. "WE SAID OPEN UP!"
"BANG BANG BANG!" Enderbrine looked over at Mappy, who was smiling at the door. "This is what it does."
She banged her staff on the floor of the van and fire spread instantly across the swirls around the sphere. Enderbrine lifted his right leg and kicked the doors open, then sprang out of the back of the van, kicking out as he did to greet two guards with a pleasant cleat to the face. "AGH!" The guards stumbbled backwards, dropping their guns and holding their glove-wearing hands up to their bleeding faces. Mappy jumped out behind him, pushing over him as her landed. "Let's start the fireworks!" She said, and suddenly the sphere at the tip of the staff started glowing, turning white-hot as fire started blazing out of it, swinging it across the area in front of her, setting the rest of the guards on fire. "AHHHHH!" They screamed in agony, falling to the ground. Mappy turned back and looked at Enderbrine. "That's what it does." She said.
Enderbrine turned and started running towards the entrance. "So, where are they. You know, your friends?" He said, as Mappy caught up and ran along side him. "They're in the basement, not too far from those stairs." She said, nodding towards the staircase that was dead ahead. "Let's hurry before these guards catch us!" Enderbrine said, rushing through the automatic doors and pushing past the four guards to the side of the doors. "HEY, NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS, KIDS!" One of guards screamed after them as Mappy pushed through too.
"Geez, and look at what the kids are wearing these days!" One of the other guards said. "Cloths!"

Mappy dashed ahead of Enderbrine, running down the stairs and taking a sharp right turn into a cement hallway. Enderbrine rushed after her, speeding up to not lose her. Mappy started slowing to a stop, smiling and turning to her right. "Hello, it's good to see you again." She walked towards the bars that separated her and the two face that stared back at her: Roc and Misfit.
"Ahhh it's been too long. How have you been?" Roc said, standing up from the bench inside the cell and walking over.
"Good, good. You?" Mappy asked.
"Well, ya know, besides being locked up here it hasn't been too bad." Misift said, walking over from where she was leaning on the wall. Roc looked over at Sefex, who had turned back into human form, and was crouched on the floor a few feet away from the cell. "You." He said. Sefex looked up.
"Who? Me?"
"Yes, you." He said, straightening his back and grabbing the bars. "You're going to die."
Sefex stood up slowly, looking him in the eye. "How you know..." He said, walking towards the cell.
"My diary." Roc said, putting out his hand. Misfit put her hand on his hand and closed her eyes, beginning to glow. Roc closed his hand, then brought it around in front of him and opened it back up, revealing the screen of a cellphone. "Read the 8th line from the bottom."
Sefex looked at the 8th line on the phone, his eyes shaking as he read it aloud:
"June 22, 5:07 PM: Somebody stabs a diary in the chest, killing them within seconds." Sefex looked up at Roc. "How do you know it's me. You have NO WAY OF KNOWING!" He screamed, his fists tightening.
"It's simple. Misfit is not going to go into her human form from now until that time, and kitty won't either. We'll make sure of that. You see, kitty has so many abilities while in this form that there'll be no reason for her to change back. Me? I can deal for myself without a weapon, so I could just leave her in her phone mode, in my pocket. You.... you'll be having to deal with it on your own." Roc said, putting the phone in the side pocket of his khakis, closing the pocket.
"Wait, deal with who?" Sefex said, stepping back from the cell.
"Mappy, they're coming! Destroy these bars then set the handrails on fire!" Roc said, pointing towards the wooden handrails on the walls next to the stairs they had just come down. Footsteps were heard coming down the top of the long stairway. "THOSE KIDS KEPT RUNNING IN THE HALLS!" They heard someone yell from up the stairs.
Mappy nodded and swung her staff towards the bars, spitting blue fire at the bars, melting them instantly. Roc carefully stepped out through the gap that had been made in the bars, then ducked down as Mappy swung the staff around to set the handrails on fire. The fire quickly jumped around into the air covering the narrow staircase, setting the guards that were almost all the way down on fire.
"AHHHHHH!" Screams echoed through the halls as smoke started to fill the hall.
"We have to get back up to the lobby or we're going to die trying to get back up later." Roc said, running towards the stairs.
"Sefex, we can't let you die. Go into your weapon form." Enderbrine said, sticking his hand out. Sefex looked at him, still fearful of his awaiting doom. "Yeah..." He said, glowing and turning into a scythe. Enderbrine ran after Mappy and Roc, crawling up the stairs to avoid the fire and smoke. "Almost.... there...." He said, getting weaker and weaker as he tried to pull himself up over the last few stairs. "I have to.... make it..." the stairs started blurring together, and Enderbrine slowed down, barley moving. Out of the smoke, a hand reached down and grabbed him by the collar, dragging him up the last few stairs. Enderbrine began coughing, his vision slowly coming back into focus. "Thanks... Mappy." He said, smiling at her. "No problem, you can't die yet." She said, puling him up to his feet. "Now let's get a move on." She said, running after Roc. Suddenly Roc stopped his running and turned to look at Mappy and Enderbrine. "So, tell me." He said. "Why did you think we were still allies?" He said.
Mappy's eyes widened, and suddenly it hit her like a smack in the face. "You- You brought us here on purpose." She shuddered. Roc started laughing as he pulled the cell phone out of his pocket. "You really thought that we were still working together? That's cute." He said.
The phone began to glow, stretching out into a long shaft, then right as it stopped glowing, two blades emerged from each end of the shaft, one sticking out to the right, one to the left.
"But... why?" Mappy said, her grip on the staff tightening. "Why would BETRAY US!" She screamed, jumping and swinging her legs out in an oval shape before landing and swinging her staff, creating a huge half-circle of fire that shot across the room at Roc. He smiled and stood still, waiting. Right before it hit him, he ducked out of the way, pushing off and running towards Mappy. "Because you never had what it took to finish the JOB!" He screamed, swinging the scythe down at her. She moved out of the way just in time and shoved her staff backwards, slamming him in the back. Enderbrine ran forward, preparing to stab him when suddenly he felt a cold blade at his neck. "Who..."
"Surprise muthaf**ka" She said, pulling her blade to the side and kicking him in the back. Enderbrine went flying, and his scythe went flying to the side. "Ack..." He groaned, slowly sitting up. "YOU! How did you find us?!" He said, backing away from Lila as she walked towards him. "Oh, ya know, it's easy to follow a van that leaves an oil leak wherever it goes. But really, Mappy needs a new van." Lila said, walking over towards him. Suddenly she stopped and turned towards Sefex.
Desperatly crawling across the floor, he was trying to reach the gun of one of the dead guards. "Oh no YOU DON'T!" Lila yelled, running towards him, flipping her knife around so the blade was facing the floor. "DIE!"
Sefex looked up in terror, seeing the blade coming down right towards his face.

WARNING, SLIGHTLY GRUESOME CONTENT PAST HERE, DON'T READ IF YOU ARE ONE WHO IS EASILY DISTURBED

"Sshhluck!" Sefex felt blood splatter onto his face, and he stared in amazement at what lay before him. "Why... why would you do it..." He said, Enderbrine in the eyes, a knife pertruding right through his forehead. Blood gushed out, spilling onto Sefex and the floor. "Enderbrine... why would you do this..." He said, his tears starting to turn red blood. "WHY!" He screamed, staring at the blank expression on Enderbrines face.
Sefex looked at his friends face, already starting to turn pale. Sefex stopped crying and closed his eyes. "You are going to PAY."

END OF GRUESOME PART

For those of you who didn't read that last part, Enderbrine jumped in the way and sacrificed himself to save Sefex.
ANYWAY, I hope you guys enjoyed that chapter, and yeah, we had out first death. Expect more of that soon enough, because the story is gonna get heated soon :3 So, yes. That's the end of chapter 4, I'll try to get out 5 sooner than I did these last few! :D
