Minecraft How did you learn about Minecraft?

For me, I used to hate it xD I started watching videos though, mostly paulsoaresjr at the time, and started to realize it wasn't bad so I tried it out and quickly got addicted. A couple years later and it's my life :3 Haha.

 

I used to hate it ("it's just a game about pixels!") and one night my friend came to my house for a sleepover and he downloaded the game to my computer when I was in the bathroom, and when I came back he basically forced me to play xD

 

Hahaha, well that's a way to get your friends to try it out :P All my friends think it's pathetic and stupid .-. When I ask them to try it out, they laugh. Lol.

 

My thoughts about Minecraft over time:

Two years ago: Minecraft is just a stupid game that everyone's addicted to. I hate pixels.
One and a half years ago: All everyone talks about is Minecraft. FML ;-;
One and a quarter years ago: Hmmm... this seems fun actually. Of course, I will only go in Single Player and create LAN worlds which I think are servers.
One year ago: Tried out J&H's Creative server. Anyone want to see my dirt shop?
Nine months ago: No, I'm not addicted, even though I spend most of my day on Minecraft. Why would you think that?
Six months ago: EMG I MET A PERSON
Three months ago: EMG I MET 30 OTHER PEOPLE
Now: Yes, I'm addicted. And I have a cooking show. Join me. @_@

Well, it seemed like the worst game ever >.>
But then my friends started playing, so I tried I loved it, now they hate it x3

 

Lol yeah, a bunch of my classmates used to play it and we used to all play on servers but now it's just me .-.

 

Here is how it worked.

(By the way, I am in the 7th grade.)

In 4th grade:
Friend 1: Hey, Brendan, want to play minecraft with me?
Me: What the hell is that?
Friend 2: Well, it's a game where you place blocks and live.
Me: Sounds boring and stupid, good day.

In 5th grade:
Friend 1: Dude, Brendan, try this out, it's really fun.
Me: What is it?
Friend 1: It's minecraft man, it's really cool and it's fun, try it!
Me: You already told me last year and it sounded like bullshit.
Friend 1: Please? Here's twenty bucks for an account! You can thank me later.
Me: *Sighs* Fine. *Plays Minecraft.*

In 6th grade:
Friend 1: Dude, wanna hang out and play some MC?
Me: Yeah sure, let me just finish this up, by the way, have you heard of ItsJerryandHarry? It's kind of cool, try it.

In 7th grade:
Friend 2: Dude, let's play some MC.
Me: Only if we can go on IJAH.
Friend 2: Alright.

 

The majority of my friends started playing it, and eventually I got Minecraft.

I accidentally found it, it was love from first sight.

I started playing Minecraft at like version 1.0.1

Searched up "Indie game", found minecraft then started playing it for 12 hours for 5 months.
