Wood Transfigurating Into Stone?

Server where bug occurred: Creative
Details: Simply put, I was making a little cottage in my plot and when I went to use Acacia wood logs for floors, each block turned to stone after being placed. In fact, every time I attempted to use a 1.7 block, it ends up turning to stone :/ please help me fix this issue, thanks :)

 

Not all the new blocks work, the server didn't actually update. It is just modded to allow players on 1.7.2 to log in. But I can confirm that the dark oak wood planks work. Hope you understand.

 

Like what TheHolyRobber said, the server hasn't officially been updated to 1.7.2 yet, which means you won't be able to use most if not all the new 1.7 features which includes the new blocks like Acacia Wood Logs.

They just use some kind of hack or whatever you call it to let people using 1.7 clients to log in.

 

Bukkit has not been officially released for 1.7.2 . Therefore, you will have to wait.
